Marcy pulled into the driveway of Anne's house, they had barely just gotten back from their date at the frog museum, and the moon was already prominent while the sky was dark, reflecting Anne's mood.

The brunette was still feeling upset from the nasty things the fan had said about her earlier, and she couldn't help but wonder if their words were true, it caused her to noticeably sulk.

They both sat there even after Marcy turned off the engine. She stared at the side of her girlfriends head, who didn't meet her eyes. She could obviously tell that Anne was feeling down, so she quickly got out and made her way to Anne's side of the car and opened her door for her.

Anne's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the car door opening, and she looked up with a small puzzled look on her face.

For a moment, Anne was unsure of what to say or do, and only stared at Marcy for a few seconds, until she realized that Marcy was obviously waiting for her to get out, and was still holding the door open for her with that adorable look on her face.

She quickly got out of the car and kept walking to the door. Even though Marcy always held the door open for Anne, she didn't think she could ever get used to the gesture and how thoughtful Marcy was, it was the kind of thoughtfulness that was rare in a person.

Despite the fact she still felt upset, she still managed to mutter a thank you, and Marcy's kindness did make her feel a little bit better, and her heart warmed as Marcy jogged over to her side.

The feeling was short-lived though, since she still felt terrible and her thoughts were swarming once more, which caused her to unconsciously speed up her walking pace and trudge back inside her house, feeling a bit defeated and tired.

Marcy wasn't expecting Anne to just leave her behind, but she knew Anne had every right to be down at the moment, because of how the media was portraying her as. So, she didn't overthink it, and figured she'd tried to comfort her girlfriend as best as she could and followed her inside, and wanting to make sure she was okay.

Marcy closed the door behind them and had to speed-walk a bit to made her way back by Anne's side.

She comfortingly put her arm around Anne, and was about to talk with the girl, until Anne lightly brushed off her arm and kept walking to her room.

Marcy would be lying if she said that didn't hurt her feelings, but she knew she had to be understanding at the moment, and continued to follow after her girlfriend.

"Anne? Are you okay?" She asked, even though it was clear she wasn't.

Anne didn't answer and just fluffed up her pillows and busied herself, picking up the dumbbells by her bed and slightly toying with them before setting them back down.

Marcy's eyes followed Anne with every step and move she made, the silence was tense, which never happened between them before.

Anne ducked down to check under her bed, looking for something that Marcy didn't exactly know was, she heard her girlfriend sigh in annoyance and saw her stand back up.

"Do you wanna talk about what happened? It might make you feel better." Marcy suggested, but Anne just kept pacing back and forth.

As Anne paced back and forth in her room, Marcy watched for a bit, not wanting to intrude since Anne might not want her to do anything.

But as she saw Anne's growing distress, she knew she couldn't just stand there and watch. So, she quickly walked over to Anne and took her hands in hers, putting the brunettes pacing to a halt.

Anne's nerves were still high, but as she looked into Marcy's green eyes, she let herself be calmed by the relaxing color.

"Anne, I know something's wrong, what's on your mind?" Her voice was soft, like it always was with Anne.
