"What? Is he dead?" Jungkook asked, his mind became sharp,all drowsiness gone.

"Not yet. Doctors are watching him," Yongi said over the phone.

"I'll be there soon," Jungkook said and cut the call.
He wore his jacket,took his keys and ran outside.
It was already dark outside.
The rain was still pouring. The weather seemed rather gloomy.

"Perfect weather for murder," Jungkook thought.

When Jungkook reached the hospital,he found Yongi talking with Taehyung.
Taehyung was looking handsome like usual.
Jungkook was little surprised watching Taehyung there.
Then he remembered that Taehyung was the prosecutor in Shi YuiJu's case.

"Jungkook-ah," Yongi called, noticing Jungkook.

"How's the situation?" Jungkook asked, standing beside Yongi.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook.
He wanted to touch Jungkook.
Gosh,he missed Jungkook so much,just in two days.
But Jungkook wasn't even looking at Taehyung.

"He's stable now," Taehyung said.

"When did it happen?" Jungkook asked.

"After lunch, during the afternoon session,the guards found Shi YuiJu absent so they went to his cell and found him lying on the floor, covered in blood. The doctor of the prison immediately gave the first aid,then he was sent here," Taehyung said in his business voice.

"When did you come, hyung?" Jungkook asked Yongi.

"After 7pm," Yongi said.

"We're called so late?" Jungkook asked.

"You guys are not involved in this case. I just called cause I thought you'd like to know it," Taehyung said coldly,then went away.

Jungkook was a little puzzled watching Taehyung like that.

"That's prosecutor Kim for you," Yongi explained noticing Jungkook's confused face.
Jungkook thought how he'd feel if Taehyung talked to him like this.
No,he didn't like that.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung again who was busy talking with someone,maybe some colleagues.

"Where's the others, hyung?" Jungkook asked.

"Today was off day so I didn't want to disturb their plan," Yongi said.

"Hyung,what are we gonna do now?" Jungkook asked.

"Let's go. Talk to the guard who found Shi YuiJu," Yongi said.
Jungkook nodded and followed Yongi.

"You found Shi YuiJu?" Yongi asked the young guard.

"Yes," the young guard said.

"When?" Yongi asked.

"About 4:15pm," the guard said.

"What did you find?" Jungkook asked.

"He's lying on the floor. There was blood and pieces of glass," the guard said.

"Where did he got the glass?" Yongi asked.

"He had a small mirror. It was broken," the guard said.

Yongi and Jungkook left him.

"Why would Shi YuiJu tried to commit suicide so suddenly?" Jungkook asked.

"We need to find out more about it. It seems fishy to me," Yongi said.

When Jungkook and Yongi came out of the hospital building, Jungkook found Taehyung talking with a man, smiling brightly and hugging the man's hands.
Jungkook felt a sudden pang of anger inside him.

"Why does he have to touch everyone?" Jungkook thought,biting his inner mouth cheek.

"Namjoon-ah,when did you come?" Yongi asked the man who was beside Taehyung.

"Yesterday, hyung," the man replied.

"Oh, Jungkook-ah,this is my junior and Taehyung's elder brother,Kim Namjoon. He's a captain of Korean army.
Namjoon-ah,this is Jungkook,a detective of my team," Yongi said introducing them.

"Oh,elder brother," Jungkook thought in relief.

Taehyung watched Jungkook's reaction with amusement.
"Huh,he's jealous,"Taehyung thought happily.

"Hyung,this is my bun," Taehyung said smiling as he hugged Jungkook's waist.
Jungkook blushed at Taehyung's behavior but he didn't avoid Taehyung.

Namjoon looked at Jungkook, feeling like he'd seen Jungkook somewhere.

"Do you like my idiot brother?" Namjoon asked.
Jungkook didn't know what to say. He still hadn't confessed to Taehyung.

"Hyung,stop teasing him. My bun is shy," Taehyung said flicking Jungkook's chin.
Jungkook was grateful for the help.

Namjoon gave Jungkook another look but didn't say anything else.

"Let's go,have dinner," Yongi suggested.
They all went to a restaurant and Hoseak joined them.

"Namjoonie,you're looking so thin," Hoseak said hugging Namjoon.

"Hobi,you're talking like Eomma," Namjoon said laughing.

"Why do you need to stay away from home all the time?" Hoseak said.
Namjoon didn't say anything, just smiled.

Taehyung didn't mind his brother's drama. He was busy looking at Jungkook.
Jungkook was aware of Taehyung's gaze.
He felt nervous being watched like that.
At first,he tried to ignore it but then he couldn't anymore.

"Why are you staring at me like this?" Jungkook asked, sighing.

"I missed you so much,bun. I just wanna look at you," Taehyung said smiling at Jungkook.
Jungkook thought Taehyung's gonna tease him again but he said these soft words.

"Just eat, okay. I'm hungry," Jungkook said.
Taehyung laughed watching Jungkook's red face.

"Ok," Taehyung said as he served Jungkook food.
After dinner,they all head home.

Jungkook drove his bike.

Shi YuiJu suddenly committed suicide. Why?
What happened suddenly?
Was it really just a suicide?
Who made Shi YuiJu lose his calm?

Shi YuiJu's cold and stern face came to Jungkook's mind.

What happened?
