Alexis's POV

One week later
Sunday, March 9th

It's 9 am and Kaitlyn just left my house after dropping off Emily at mine. She had a date with her husband so Emily is going to be having a sleepover with me. Oh and Olivia.

"What do you want for breakfast, little bean?" I said while carrying Emily in one hand and her bag in my other.

"Chocolate!!" She screamed clapping her hands.

I chuckled "Em baby, we can't have chocolate for breakfast"

"Nooo" she whined.

"Okay, how about...I make you an egg sandwich and milk? Then we can have chocolate" I said while dropping her bag on the couch. Now heading to the kitchen.

"kaaay"

I sat her on the chair and began picking everything I need out of the fridge. I'll be making me and Olivia an avocado toast with coffee.

A few minutes later.

"Hey" a sweet voice was heard.

"Livieee" Emily said while opening her arms for a hug.

"Hey, Emily. I missed you" Olivia said while hugging my little bean.

"You sleep here?" Emily asked tilting her head.

"I did sleep here" Olivia responded and Emily went back to her toy.

"Morning"

"Good morning" I pecked her lips quickly due to the 4 year old sitting in my kitchen.

"What are you making?" She leaned on the counter beside me.

"I'm making a scrambled egg toast for Em. Avocado and egg toast for my favorite person in the world"

"And who's that?" She bit her lip.

"Oh I don't know, probably the girl that's always wearing my hoodies and sweatpants"

"Heyyy even tho they are big on me, they're still comfortable so leave me alone"

"They're yours, baby"

She blushed "Better be"

"By the way your weird coffee is on the table"

"If it wasn't for the little innocent kid sitting behind me I would've known how to respond to you, so thank Emily for that" she whispered and went to sit with Emily at the table.

I chuckled and continued making breakfast.

A few hours later we decided on going in the pool.

"Lex, look" Emily shouted for me.

Olivia was throwing her lightly in the water with her floaties on. They were smiling and giggling.

Adorable, I thought.

"Wowww Em, that was awesome!"
