i was sitting in the basement trying to read cosmic frontier thag gus had been desperately wanting me to get interested in but to be honest

i have no idea what this is.

but i pretend to like it for gus's sake

it's hard for everyone right now and i'm not trying to seem like a pick me or anything

but hunter has been bothering me for ages right now aboit how to act "politely"

and he thinks he knows everything about humas just because he knows luz better than me

and it's not just things like attitude like you'd expect

no, he picks on me for EVERYTHING

and he thinks he's so much better jsut because he's older

and for that reason he can tell me how to act

he also tells me to "act more mature" i mean he should look at himself he's obsessing over wolfes like a child

and he complains about m-

"y/n dinners ready, wanna come up?"

camila shouts down

"yeah sure i'll be right there"

and with that i ran up the stairs

i thought the others had already ate since they had been upstairs for a long time

but i was wrong

everyone sat at the table

of course that included hunter

this was gonna be a messy dinner

don't get me wrong, i love hunter and i'm grateful he's my brother and i know he just tried to help but he comes off as mean sometimes too

we started eating like normal and while i thought things were going well-

"y/n straighten up your back you look like a shrimp"

he whispered over to me, ok first of all, what the fuck is the shrimp?

second of all; "look at yourself, you're no straighter than your hair"

he looked over to me very judgmentally

i get that siblings are like this and i'm supposed to laugh it off but it's not that easy.
