The classroom was brightly lit with overhead fluorescent lights, casting a harsh and unwelcoming glow on the dreary walls. Rows of desks were lined up in perfectly straight lines, each occupied by a student dutifully scribbling away on their exams. Ceasar sat in his seat, staring blankly at the test in front of him, purposely leaving answers blank as he daydreamed about returning to Woodcrest .
He put a blind fold on However, despite his attempts to fail, he couldn't get any questions wrong - the correct answersAfter school the teacher called him to have a seat
She hand a paper to him it said 0/100
"A zero ?wow
A few of those maybe you should kick me out ."he tried to played it off with a laugh .
If a person with a blind fold pick he answer on a true and false quiz at random do you know what score they would get?50 percent? The only way to get the answers wrong is to get the answers right
She changed the grade from 0/100 to 100/100I want you to know that what you accomplished was remarkable. You were able to get every answer right while blindfolded. That's an impressive feat."
Your trying to quit
I just want to go back to my other home with my friends .
"This school just don't fit me or vice versa ."
Your trying to quit and I'm not gonna let you .teacher (reassured ). I want to encourage you to continue to challenge yourself and use your unique skills and talents to excel in your studies."
Teacher: "Caesar, I noticed you've been carrying a lot of books and equipment to each class. Your book bag looks heavy. Are you okay?"
Caesar: "Yes, Miss. I'm fine. I just want to be prepared for each class. I have notes, textbooks, and other materials I need to have with me."
Teacher: "I see. Well, I want you to know that I'm impressed with how well you've been doing in each class so far. You been acing your test in other classes great work."
Caesar: "Thank you, Miss. I try my best to stay organized and focused."(I want to leave this place so bad .
Teacher: "That's admirable, but I want to make sure you're not carrying too much weight on your back. It can become harmful to your health if you carry a heavy load for extended periods of time."
Caesar: "I never thought about that before, Miss. What should I do?"
Teacher: "I suggest that you try to limit what you carry to only what you need for each class. Perhaps you can utilize a locker or leave some materials in your classroom as well. That way, you won't have to carry so much weight on your back."
Caesar: "That sounds like a good idea. I'll start doing that. Thank you, Miss."
Teacher: "You're welcome, Caesar. Remember, your health and wellbeing are just as important as your academic success."
He shut the locker and quick glanced
Michael closed his locker and briefly scanned the hallway. His eyes settled on the Asian girl two lockers down, and he felt a jolt of recognition. He'd seen her before, but he couldn't quite place where. She was small and wiry, with straight black hair that fell over her shoulders like a waterfall. As she fumbled with the lock on her locker, Michael noticed that her hands were small and agile, like a piano player's. Just then, the warning bell rang, and the girl grabbed her backpack and darted off down the hallway. Michael hesitated for a moment, then slung his own backpack over his shoulder and followed her.
Caesar's heart skipped a beat when he heard the girl's response. He gazed at her face which was blocked by light .
.Michael winced in pain as the girl twisted his arm behind his back. He immediately recognized his mistake. "Hey, sorry. I was just trying to catch up with you. I saw you earlier and I thought you looked familiar." The girl's grip loosened a little, but she still didn't let him go. "You were following me," she said flatly. "That's kind of weird, don't you think?" Michael felt his face flush with embarrassment. He tried to backpedal. "No, no, I just wanted to apologize for disturbing you. I'm new here, and I was trying to find my way around." The girl still didn't look convinced, but she released his arm and took a step back. "Fine. Just don't do it again, okay?" Michael nodded quickly, relieved to be free.
As the girl turned to leave, Michael couldn't help but watch her go. She walked with a distinct swagger, as if she owned the hallway. Michael knew he'd never be that cool.Michael looked closer at the girl's face and suddenly realized that it was Ming Long Dou. But before he could say anything, the girl studied his face for a moment and a look of recognition crossed her features. "Wait a minute. You're Michael, right? Michael Caesar?" Michael nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, that's me. Do you know me?" Ming's expression softened a little. "Yeah, we had math class together last year. You always sat in the back and never said anything." Michael felt a twinge of embarrassment. He remembered that class all too well. He'd struggled through almost every assignment, barely scraping by with a C-. "That was a tough class," he muttered. Ming shrugged. "Eh, it was okay. I passed with an A." Michael felt a surge of admiration for her.
Maybe she wasn't so bad after all.
