Chapter 31

The girl who was in the room with Bebe was a tall, dark girl. Craig thought she looked like a model, her hair and skin both looked smooth.

Nicole walks over to Craig to get a scan of one of his eyes.

"Hey, It was Nicole, right?"

"That's me."

"I'm Craig."

"And I'm aware."

"Right." Craig found her intriguing.

She holds a device to his left eye for a few seconds before pulling away and jotting a few things down.

"So, Craig. What's your story?"

"Not much just got abducted and altered, like the rest of the people here."

"Nice short story, I like it."

"Thanks."

"Alright. I'm ready to go." She turns to Bebe. "Set him up."

Bebe puts a thin band around Tweek's head. "Okay, Tweek. Does that feel alright?"

"Yep."

"Give it a shot, Craig."

Craig focuses on Tweek, "I still see the colors."

"You can? Can you control one?" Tweek asks with a worried look.

"None of them are strong enough. Can you think of something to amplify your emotions? Focus on something that will make you feel something."

"Okay..." Tweek closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

"Woah."

"Do you see it?"

"Tweek, what the fuck are you thinking about?"

"Can you see it?"

"I can..."

"Control it, make it go up or down or something."

"Dude, you sure you want me messing with that?"

"This is all I could think of right now! Just try!"

"Fine..."

Craig focuses on the growing purple aura around Tweek. "It's... not working."

"Really?"

"Yeah, nothing."

Bebe jumps up and hugs Tweek. "We did it!"

Tweek awkwardly pushes Bebe away. He was slightly disappointed that testing ended so fast. He wanted more time like this. More time with Craig focusing on only him. Staring into his eyes.

"Guess that's that." Craig stands up and stretches. "I'm gonna get lunch. Nicole? Are you busy?"

"Me?" She tilts her head.

"Yeah, you. Do you want to get lunch with me? You worked pretty hard."

She smiles at him, "Sure! Let's go to the Italian place down the road."

"I haven't had any food from outside the complex yet. Is it good?"

"It is. I can recommend some things to you."

Craig and Nicole exit the room as they talk about lunch plans.

Bebe turns to Tweek, "So, what are you doing for lunch?"

"Let's go to that Italian place."

"The same one they are going to?"

"Yes."
