Mission After Jax

"Lets go." Sonya said. I jumped on the motorcycle and wrapped my hands around her waist. She started the motorcycle and she began driving. "Woohoo!" I shouted.
"Shut up back there!" Sonya said. I knew she was joking.
"Sorry, General!" I said.

Sonya's comm on her wrist went off. I reached forward and pressed it to answer. "Sonya and Y/n here!"
"General Blade, Y/n! Your friend, Jackson Briggs, has been captured! We need your help to find him!"
"Do you have a definite location?"
"Evil seems to know that one prison at that bridge pretty well. Lets try there." I recommended.
"What?!" Sonya asked.
"The bridge we reunited at! Jax could be there!" I told her.
"Good thinking!" Sonya said. "We have an idea on where he might be! Sonya out!" Sonya said into the comm.
"Good luck General. Good luck Y/n." They heard as I pressed hang up. "Lets get a change of clothes and go after him!" I said.

Sonya was in her grey, leather vest and black jeans. I was in my black shirt, grey leather jacket, and blue jeans. Both of us had our weapon belts on. We were at the bridge and hoped to find Jax. We went inside the building. It was quiet. Too quiet. I didn't like it. Sonya had a hand on her hip, ready for anything. We heard distant voices. "Fight!" We heard someone shout. We kept looking for Jax. That's when we saw a cage and a figure inside. "Sonya! Y/n!"
"Jax! Thank god!" Sonya said as we ran to the bars. "Did they hurt you?"
"No, I'm alright."
"What happened? Where's those voices coming from?" I asked.
"That sorcerer, Shang Tsung i think, thinks this is a game! Now theres a tournament here, and they caught me to force me to participate!" Jax explained.
"Lets get out of here." Sonya said.
"You ain't going nowhere!" We heard.
"Damnit! Run!" I shouted. Jax and Sonya started running. I was seized by two people.

I was brought out to an arena. "Hey! Hey! Get me out of here!" I said. I looked around me and saw a few recognizable faces. Then i saw a throne with the sorcerer himself, Shang Tsung. "Reptile!" Shang said. Reptile came out. I was being forced to fight him. I pulled out my guns and started shooting at him. He spit at me. I stepped away as the green, sick acid hit me. Reptile started swinging his hands at me, trying to scratch at me. I kicked him good in the arm. I then pulled out the sword i had and started to swing at him. Reptile jumped back. "Stay back!" I demanded. Reptile grabbed it and tossed it away. He tried to bite me, but i held him mouth open. I felt a small pop on my hand on his jaw. He got a good scratch through my shirt. "Kill him!" Shang said.
"No!" Sonya jumped down pulled out her garrote wire and whipped it at Reptile. She then wrapped it around his neck. She tightened it and pulled towards her, tearing his head off. Reptile's body fell on me as I pushed it away. "That's cheating!" Shang said.
"Hell no it isn't, it was a tag!" I asked
"Fine. Y/n and Sonya win!" Shang Tsung said as he got up and left. Sonya helped me up and Raiden and Liu Kang came to us. "Ah, Raiden and Liu Kang." Sonya said.
"Surprising to see you here." Raiden said.
"We had to rescue Jax. He told us about Shang Tsung's plan." I said as Jax joined us.
"Its not exactly his plan. Its his leader, Shao Kahn's plan." Raiden told us.
"He made Shang Tsung create this Mortal Kombat tournament as a chance to save Earthrealm. Anytime we lose, he gets one step closer to claiming it." Liu Kang followed.
"So we just have to play his game until we get to him." Jax said. I looked over and saw Scorpion and Sub-Zero talking. I hadn't expected it since they've been battling for a while. "What's going on with them?" I asked. Raiden came to me. "I showed Sub-Zero the true story of who was responsible for the death of the Shirai Ryu with Sektor's head. Once he showed Scorpion, they became allies. The powers of fire and ice combined is a great team up."
"I appreciate the save, by the way, if I hadn't said it before." Jax said.
"Your welcome, Jax. Come on, we're going to Special Forces." Sonya as she walked past him. We followed her out.
