Aurora rubbed her eyes with the sleeve of James jumper she had borrowed since the summer and by all means had no intention to give back. – "Remind me again why I agreed to wake up with you at 5 am on a SUNDAY"- Said the brunet with a sheepish yet loud tone which earned her a shush from James
- "You did not, now quit winning so loud or you'll blow our cover"- Retorted James while dragging Aurora from the hand though another corner of the Castle.
Aurora knitted her eyebrows. "-But... when you woke me up, you said I had promised two weeks ago to do this, it's the only bloody reason I came"- Hissed the burnet.
- "I know, I know; I apologize for taking advantage of your honor, but I needed someone to come with"- Retorted James still dragging a now deeply angry Aurora.
- "Why didn't you just ask nicely?"- Pouted the hazel eyed girl.
- "Would you have said yes?"- Asked James raising an eyebrow when they came to a stop to hide from Filch.
Aurora only scratched the back of her neck and let herself be dragged another flight of stairs down until they made it.
The quidditch pitch.
Just now it dawned in Aurora how ridiculously loyal she was to James.
She had let herself be dragged out of bed by a stag, at 4:50 am and without being given a chance to change from her pajamas she was ushered out of the comfort of her slumber, for what.
She didn't even know what they were supposed to do. Surely, they weren't going to play, James didn't have his broom and he was to, wearing bright red pajamas.
She was about to ask for an explanation when her answer materialized in the form of 10 Slytherins flying onto the pitch.
James quickly grabbed Auroras wrist once more and took her to the stands where they hid in the commentator's booth with a pair of binoculars.
- "How did you know?"- Asked Aurora squinting her eyes trying to make the figures that were flying and something around.
- "I overheard Black talking to his keeper about training the day of a match and figured out he would do it at the as crack of dawn, he is such a prick for forcing his team to wake up this early"- Answered James without taking off his binoculars.
Aurora scoffed and called him a hypocrite before nestling into a spot on the benches.
- "Why do you bother though, we already played them, one would think there is no need to spy anymore"-
- "As if we do not have another game against them next year"- Retorted James as if it was an obvious answer.
Aurora just rolled her eyes, rested her head on her hand and dozed off. They were too far for her to distinguish the players without binoculars but found a small, strange confront on knowing one of them was Regulus.
An hour went by and just when Aurora was falling asleep, she was brought to her feet by James ushering them out of the box and onto the castle.
- "Why do we have to run"- Pleaded Aurora with a confused look on her face.
- "If they find me spying on them will be suspended for "cheating" and "bad sport ship""- Answered James using air quotes.
Aurora pressed her lips. "- I cannot run at 6 am so you run and ill just see you there"- Answered Aurora shaking her head with a laugh.
He nodded and yelled a thank you before taking off.
Once she was done being amused by James, she started to make her way back to her room.
