➤Hoax

Aurora dropped her heals and lifter her legs onto the sofa.

-"I cannot believe James did that"- Said Lilly mirroring her burnet friend's actions and plopping down on the couch in front of her.

-"I mean... are you surprised at this point?"- Laughed Aurora turning to face her friend.

-"He Karaoked 'Just the Way you are' in front of the whole party"- Groaned Lilly burring her face on her hands wich only made Aurora laugh harder.

It was currently December 24th at 3:00 am. The last of the potter's guest had left and Sirius and James were upstairs with Remus who was also staying over.

-"God, I wish Marls had stayed, we are outnumbered Lil's, they are planning our demise, upstairs I'm telling you"- Said Aurora narrowing her eyes at the empty stairs to the second floor.

-"It's fine, Sirius and James share one brain cell, so technically is Remus who is outnumbered"- Added the redhead sitting up. –"I think I'm calling it a night Ror"-

Aurora smirked. –"Mia and Monty said you could stay with James if you wanted to, they just asked that there was no "Funny Business"- Finished the burnet making air quotes

Lilly blushed an Aurora shook her head in amusement.

She was wearing a lovely navy-blue gown that complemented her immensely and her make-up was done naturally, her priorly brushed hair was now messier but still looked good.

The ball had been a success, a step up from the Nott ball if she said so herself.

They danced and drank all night, all of her friends came, except for him. Aurora knew he probably wouldn't, but she was still a bit sad when everyone left, and he still never showed up.

She was basking the calmness that was the Potter Manor at this hour, with everyone upstairs almost asleep.

She had stood up and was on her way up the stairs when the doorbell rang.

Assuming it was someone who might've forgotten something she just opened the door to see a 6-foot blonde standing on her door frame looking beyond anxious.

-"Evan, hi..."- Started the witch but was dragged by the wrist outside of the house without further explanation, she was not wearing any shoes or jacket to shelter her form the snow that was settling outside so to say her panic instincts kicked in was an understatement.

-"Wow wow, stop Rosier, what's happening"- Demanded Aurora.

-"Its him, you have to come"-

Aurora took a sharp breath and nodded.

She didn't even have time to process what was happening when Evan apparated them outside of Grimauld Place.

Aurora gripped her sides. Having only apparated once before she was nowhere near accustomed.

Evan took a look at her and gave her a second to compose herself.

-"I know how to get in, I just..."- His voice started to crack. –"Hess too badly beaten; I can't carry him myself"- Started the Blonde.

Aurora felt her stomach drop and for a second, she forgot how to breath.

To badly beaten.

Aurora placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded for him to go on.

They walked to what she assumed was the back door.

-"This is where we need to get him, once he's here I can aparate us, I just can't do it inside, they have a charm"-
