Field Trip! Part 3

Rose's POV

I tried my best to hold onto Peter, but I could barely keep my eyes open everything hurt too much, I just wanted to sleep, I shivered a little.

Maybe I could just close my eyes for a minute, "Ro please stay awake, we're nearly there," I heard my brother say.

"So... so tired..." I slur, "Nearly there sis, just hold on." I felt him hold me tighter, and I heard yelling, and he landed in a room. I didn't know where I was but I felt someone grab me from Peter's arms, I looked up everything was blurry, I coughed more blood, and saw him it was my papa, and aunty Tasha.

They placed me down gently on a bed, and I felt tears in my eyes, "Papa..." I mutter softly.

"I'm here baby its okay you're gonna be okay I promise. I'll be right here when you wake up." Papa said to me, and I felt someone place a mask on my face, finally I can sleep... my eyes fluttered closed, and I fell into a dark calming sleep.

I heard voices, saying "don't worry she'll be okay, she might take a day to wake up." "Has anybody told Astrid what happened?" "Is she coming?" "Yes she'll be here soon."

Wait a day... Astrid... Huh... what nuh uh... I slowly opened up my eyes, and realized that I'm in bed, in the med bay. Oh shit I got shot huh I forgot about that I couldn't move what why... I just laid there unable to move I'm so tired, my body feels kinda sore, not as much I thought it would though.

I heard the voices get quieter and realized they must have left and gone into the waiting room I felt so tired, but I wanted to see my family, and I wanted Astrid I wanted my Joyfriend, after a few minutes my body fully woke up, and I took off the covers, I looked down at my torso which was covered in bandages.

I slowly got up out of the bed, I stood up and held onto the IV, and oxygen stand, but I left the nasal canule on. I wonder how long I was out for.

I held onto the IV stand straighted out my hospital gown, and slowly walked out of the room and towards the waiting room. I saw my papa, Peter, the whole avengers, then I saw my joyfriend rush in they were wearing a sky blue asguardian tunic with violet golden rimmed pants, their hair was tied up into a neat bun, their golden flower crown was placed on their hair, and their golden glasses were nearly falling off their face as they reajusted them. "Where is she?" they asks tears in their eyes.

"She's resting in the other room," says my papa. I walk fully into the room, and clear my throat. Astrid is the first to see me, and they rush over and gently but firmly pull me into their embrace, I wrap my arms around them. "I was so worried about you I got a message while I was in Asguard for the council of chiefs, I came as fast as I could, and what are you doing out of bed?!?!" they ask demandingly.

"Yah kid you just got shot you should be resting." says uncle Bruce sternly. "I had to see you guys, and thank you for well saving my life again." I say, and my papa, mom, and brother come forward, and join Astrid and me in a hug, then the whole family comes, and we have a group family hug.

"Now come on back to bed says, Astrid, and they scoop me up into their arms. "Lovebug... I can walk." I say slightly irritated.

"Nope come on I'm taking you to bed, and I'm gonna carry you." They say, and I sigh, and just snuggle into their arms, and they smile, and carry me back to bed, and my brother pushes the IV, and oxygen stand back with me, and Astrid uses their magic to move the covers, and lays me down in the bed, and pulls up the covers.

"Now rest." they say sternly, "But I'm not sleepy..." I grumble, and Bruce, and Cho come in the room, and Cho says, "Just at least stay in bed." "Ok fine." I say, and Astrid, Peter, MJ, and Ned sit down on the chairs.

"Um so who's gonna tell her about the you know..." says Ned, "Tell me what?" I ask slightly nervous, "Not it! I'm the one who saved her someone else do it!" says Peter, I looked at Astrid, and they said, "Don't look at me I just got here I don't know what they're talking about." "Well somebody tell me!" I said annoyed, and anxious. "Okay well you see.... when Peter saved you and brought you into the tower we sort of were here with the chemistry class on our field trip, and they all sort of saw your face, and now they know that you and Peter are super heroes..." says MJ, "But don't worry Peter told them off told them to get out, and if they told anybody he'd come and punish them." said Ned.

"Oh wow really my little bro told off our whole chemistry class, and made them promise not to tell a soul. Dayum I'm impressed." I said, "Well of course sis, I've always got your back." He said smiling.

"Thanks Pete." I said. "I'm greatful for you, and thanks for saving me." I said. "No worries, I know you'd do the same for me." he replied.

I smile, and yawn. "I saw that Ro," said Astrid, "yep you're kot fooling anybody please just sleep, you need it to heal."

"I agree with Astrid sweetie you need to get some sleep," says my mom, "yep you do now come on everybody let's let her get some rest." Says my papa, and everybody gets up to leave, but as Astrid stand up I grab their arm, "can you stay and snuggle with me, just until I fall asleep?" I ask softly whispering.

"Of course I'll stay sweetpea," they say, and they push the covers over and get into the bed with me, and they wrap me in their warm embrace and I snuggle into them closely.

My friends, and family leave, and Astrid kisses me on the forheard and strokes my back lovingly, and soon enough I fall asleep happy in the embrace of my loving soulmate.
