Jack gasped, shocked at the realization of the familiarity of the voice and what he said. Jack tried to quickly scramble up off the ground when the figure quickly held him to the ground, hovering above him."Jack..." he said, dragging the a in his name out. Jacks eyes were huge and he felt fear, but he couldn't show it. He couldn't shown any weakness. He relaxed. He had to find a way out of this.
He laid still and stared. "Gabriel.. is that you?" The figure grunted when he said that name. "That... thats not my name anymore." He hissed. "I am The Reaper..." Jack scoffed. "The Reaper? Ha! Who do you think you are Gabriel. And what are you doing here. This place is awfu-"
Gabriel grabbed Jacks throat. "Shut. Up." He cackled, a menacing laugh. "You always did talk too much, didn't you?" His face was inches away from Jacks face. As Jack stared, within the two holes where his eyes would be in the mask, he saw two glowing red eyes, full of fury. Jacks face turned red as he realized what position he was holding Jack in.
It didn't take long for Gabriel to take advantage of this. "Oh?" He said degradingly. "Does this remind you of something Jack? Do you remember when I used to hold you like this, and you enjoyed it. You loved when I used to hold your throat, didn't you Jack~" he mocked him. Jacks face turned red, full of embarrassment.
As Gabriel could always make a fool out of Jack, when nobody else could. Gabriel began to put his head next to Jack's neck, and Jack could feel his hot breath coming out of the mask. "Jack..." he laughed. "I mi-" alarms began to ring throughout the building. Gabriel pounced up off the ground, clearly startled. And Jack got up as well, and scurried out of the room as fast as possible, grabbing his visor as he went. "JACK!" The terrifying voice screamed, sounding desperate.
Jack ran through the place, he knew what this was. Ana was trying to help him get out of this place. Jack had a feeling Ana wouldn't help him. She knew he was coming, she was just in the backlines. He hoped to god she didn't see what happened in that room.
He tried to navigate the place, and quickly put his visor back on and clicked it into place. His eyes scanned the place as he ran what felt like an endless maze, until his visor caught a figure at the top of one of the windows, very high up.
He squinted. It had to be Ana. He kicked off the wall and his hand grabbed the ledge of a platform and he pulled himself up onto it. He then looked back at the place where he saw Ana. There she still was, and she reached her hand out to him. Grabbing her hand, he jumped out of the place.
Out of breath, Ana finally spoke. "Jack. What were you thinking?!" He was silent. "How careless of you to just run in there by yourself and nearly get yourself killed. He found you didn't he?" Jack sighed. "Yes, he did. But he didn't attempt to hurt me." Ana rolled her eyes. "
He would have if it wasn't for me setting of the alarms!" She continued, "do you know how foolish that was?!" Jack looked up at her, with a look of guilt on his face. "Yes. I know it was a terrible thing to do. Im sorry I put you in danger with myself Ana.
Next time I do something careless like this.. don't follow me along and try to help me." She crossed her arms and looked at him. "I will always have your back, Jack." Jack felt guilty for putting her in danger like this. It wasn't like him at all. He never put anyone else's life but his own at risk. What is happening to me? He thought to himself. Ana put a hand on jacks shoulder. "I know you miss him, Jack. I know that you love him." Jack flinched. She forced eye contact with him. "He is not the same anymore."
