Bloodbath for Ryu

This is a short chapter but hey it's a chapter, WARNING: this chapter also has a lot of gore in it, if you dont want to read it you may skip to the end

Chapter 19

Running but looking as if I was phasing almost to the shed where kage is kept, as I walk in he immediately sees something wrong and is ready to go, I hop on him and start riding the back way of the castle where I found a blind spot

As we ride to my grandfather's base I get my stuff set up in my pockets and hold my knifes that can extend in my hands

After a long long ride we get to the abandoned boat, I hide kage under an arch about a mile away and walk with my head down until I see two guards

"Hey! Who are-" he starts but I dash forward and slit both of their throats calmly without a sound

Walking on to the boat silently not trying, I look to my sides calmly..too calm, I remember where the cells are and start walking to them

Passing many problems, many of them I'm able to knock out by possibly cracking their skull with my end of my knives but nonetheless knock them out, once I get to cages they were scared until they saw my identification around my neck

"Y-youre a part of the crown?!" One shouts happily

"Silence." I spit with venom causing them to immediately silent

"Wheres the small boy" I demand and they point more down the hall

I walk slowly as I think the ship found out I had found them, I stop walking and turn my head as my eyes soften for a moment

"Ryu.." I say lowly seeing the boy tense and look up

"(Y-y/n)!" He says as I see slight tears

I smile slightly and open the doors seeing as I killed the guy who had the keys, ryu runs into my arms and I hug him

"We have to go" I say in a monotone before letting ryu go and I hand him a backpack

"Hold that close, it has acid potions in it incase you need them, hold on" I say and pick up the boy putting him on my back before walking out

"Ryu..what you're about to see.." I start hesitantly and I feel him nod

"I know (y/n)..its okay, I'll be okay" he says so I stay silent but nonetheless continue

"Hold on tight" I say and he does so

I start running out until I get to the entrance to be blocked in, I stop my steps and stand tall as I let ryu down

"Ryu..give me a potion and when I say..I want you to run, my horse kage is about a mile away, he will recognize your sent and find you if you are to far away" I say and he looks at me scared so I grab a potions and smile at him

"You got this ryu, I believe you can make it.. I'm sure obi and the others are on their way.." I start before seeing grandfather

"Long time no see (y/n)" he says in a monotone do i lower my head so Ryu doesnt see my eyes and ruffle his hair

"I'll watch your back until you make it off" I say and look at grandfather with my eyes burning fury

"Ahhh I see those eyes of yours havent gotten dull" he says smirking as if he was amused

"I'm surprised you're not dead by now..oh well, I guess I have a bigger job then" I say and he snaps so I throw a acid potion towards the guys at the exit and toss ryu a bit
