Henrik looked outside the window of his bedroom as he closed his eyes and focused on it all, he could hear every heart beating from miles away..every breath that was taken in a span of seconds and the smell of gasoline, food and other smells around him

This is what Niklaus must've experienced when he had first become a hybrid, all of this power coursing through his veins..for once in his life; Henrik felt invincible especially with now the strength of being a hybird himself

He didn't have to be put on the sidelines when he just human..if anything he was far stronger than Elena and the Salvatore brothers; his bite could kill a vampire in less than twenty four hours alas he wouldn't let the power of being a hybrid get to his head

Henrik opened his eyes and stepped away from the window as he heard a small knock from behind him; he turned around to see Alice standing in the doorway as she greeted him with a genuine smile as he smiled back at her

Alice:How are you feeling?

She walked over to Henrik and puts her hands on her hips as he looked down at his hands and then back up at her

"I feel incredible.."

Alas he still couldn't figure out why he didn't crave the need for blood like other vampires; maybe it just took time for all of it to get to him or maybe it was a gift..knowing he didn't need to feed on innocent people or drink blood bags to keep his strength as a hybrid

Alice noticed that Henrik's smile faded away from his face as she stood in front of him and shook him a bit as the youngest Mikaelson snapped out of his own thoughts and looked down at her

Alice:Henrik, are you sure that you're okay?

Henrik could hear how worried she was for him but he quickly reassured her

"I'm fine, sorry about spacing out..I just need time to get used to being a hybrid"

He puts his hands on her shoulders and gives a look of honesty as she glances down at his hands and then back up at them; one of her bands move up and reach his as she gently squeezes it

Alice:Maybe we should go out..it could help you instead of being cooped up in here, it can give you a chance to explore new territory..

Henrik did admit that it wasn't a bad idea to go out and explore the town even though they weren't in Mystic Falls; it'd be nice to see how life was outside of that small town he once lived in

Henrik and Alice walk side by side down a sidewalk passing many stores and restaurants as Alice is seen looking around and noticing every single detail of this new town

"I'm guessing you didn't go out as much as you wanted to?"

Alice gave a small nod as she saw an old couple sitting on a bench and laughing without a single care in the world as Henrik followed her gaze and saw them

"I used to think that if I waited long enough, that I'd eventually find that special someone in my life.."

Henrik put his hands inside of his jacket and just starred at the old couple and went on
