Henrik grabs a small rag and wipes the blood from his face as he turns around to see all of the vampires that tried to kill now; all either decapitated, their guts torn out and hanging loosely or quite literally ripped in half as one of the last remaining vampires weakly crawls away from the slaughter of his fellow vampires only to look up and see the cold eyes of Alice staring back at the poor fool

She holds out her hand at the last vampire who tried to kill them as she says one word that sets the vampire ablaze

Alice:Incendia..

A ball of fire comes out of Alice's hand as it burns the last vampire to an absolute crisp, his agonizing screaming are drowned out by Alice as she lowers her hand and walks back to to Henrik who is looking upon the pile of dead vampires; he offers the rag to Alice as she takes it and wipes some of the vampire blood off of her hands

"At least they tried..kinda"

Alice hummed agreeing with Henrik, they faired better than most considering the amount of vampires that all rushed them but something about these particular vampires felt oddly familiar; it was almost as if they were waiting for them to be in this specific spot to ambush them

Henrik notices Alice's silence and nudges her shoulder enough to grab her attention as he asks the witch

"Something on your mind, Alice?"

Alice:Well..it's just that nobody knew where we were but somehow out of nowhere all these vampires came here to try and kill us

Henrik did see to what Alice was saying and nodded his head as this sparked his own interest at hand; they couldn't have been followed Alice made sure to put a cloaking spell the second they left the apartment and even here they knew Jeremy Gilbert so that could be one of the main reasons of their ambush

The recently fallen vampires could've come back to seek revenge to what his old self did all of the previous vampires for the map to the cure which in hindsight was now useless to Henrik since he was an Original hybrid also since Elena clearly had no intention on becoming human ever again

Still that didn't stop Henrik from thinking about all the ways he would utterly humiliate Elena and Damon for being such pains in the ass; even when he was Jeremy Gilbert he was underestimated now he could turn the tables to his own means

Alice could see a mischievous smirk form on Henrik's lips as she knew that he was certainly planning something rather devious especially with that look on his face; in the short time that they had known each other after all of these years apart in a way Alice could see that Henrik was like all of his siblings excluding Finn of course; he was noble like Elijah, fierce like Klaus, caring like Rebekah and mischievous like Kol or at least he was in some ways like them

But he was also himself most of the time and only truly acted that way when things took quite the turn and this just so happened to be one of those times; Henrik turns to Alice who is still staring at him as he goes to ask her something but his supernatural hearing picks up something

Henrik instinctively grabs Alice and wraps both arms around her as Henrik is shot in the back multiple times while shielding Alice from the bullets; still he refuses to give into the pain as he turns around only to see a bunch of armed humans all carrying their firearms, out of the corner of the Original hybrid's eyes he could see the vampire he had let live arrogantly smirking back at him
