Rebekah's words echoed inside of Henrik's mind as his grip on the steering wheel only tightened; he did understand why she wanted him to live his life to fullest before jumping back into the family dynamic unlike Elena who wanted him to leave without having a say in his once human life

Henrik knew that Rebekah would call him every now and then to check up on him just like any older and caring sister would; the hybrid turns his head in the direction of Alice as she looks back at Henrik and smiles a bit

Alice:Rebekah was really happy to see you again, Henrik..

Henrik's grip on the steering wheel loosens as he softly chuckles and replies back

"Yeah I just wish we could've stayed longer but if we did then Niklaus would've seen us..and we can't have that"

In Henrik's mind, Niklaus would've become more paranoid about him truly being the youngest Mikaelson reborn and become more weary of Original hybrid in the family; one that put up a good fight against the Big Bad Wolf and possibly win in his human form

"I remember once telling Elijah that family is power..love, loyalty that is power. The promise of always and forever isn't just some saying..it's an eternal vow for all of us"

And it was true, those words represented a lifetime of loyalty and the unconditional love for family because at the end of the day..family was always above all that stood against them

Henrik turns the radio on to try and distract himself as one of his favorite songs come on the yet he hears Alice hum the words to it alas those hums soon turn into an incredibly angelic symphonic voice

Alice:🎶Heaven, when I held you again. How could we ever just be friends?
I would rather die than let you go,
Juliet to your Romeo. How I heard you say...🎶

Henrik shrugs his shoulders deciding to join her into this astonishing musical moment as he starts sing catching off guard

"🎶I would never fall in love again until I found her. I said I would never fall unless it's you I fall into I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her..I found you..🎶"

Henrik and Alice just keep smiling at each other as they hear the gituar solo of the song and sing in harmony with the song slowly coming to an end

Henrik turns his attention back on the road up ahead as they both burst out joyously laughing at the song they had just sung together

Alice:I didn't know you could sing, Henrik!

Henrik just nonchalantly shrugs his shoulders not really seeing the big deal out of this

"Says the woman with the beautiful voice, I forgot how much you used to sing back in the village"

Alice bit the inside of her mouth as Henrik sends a flirtatious wink in her direction as Alice tucks a strand of her beautiful blonde hair behind her ear with an adorable amount of red flushing her face; Alice would be lying if she didn't say that she didn't find Henrik attractive
