it was the next day now, no one had come to rescue them so they dug graves and buried the people who had passed, everyone was in a circle around the graves

"before we took off, i heard rachel say that she was going to see oasis at the meadowlands next month" van said as everyone stared down at the graves

"she was really excited...and shes never gonna here 'wonderwall' again" van added

"come on..lets join hands" laura lee said, letting her hands out to shauna and taissa

"we'll pray for them" laura lee added as a few others started reaching out their hands for the person beside them

marley put her hand out for lottie and lottie stared at it for a second before hesitantly going to grab it

"rachel, you just moved up from JV, so..we didnt really know you" laura lee trailed off for a second

"but in trig, you never confused your secants and your cosecants, you seemed really smart"

"anyone else?" laura lee asked while looking around at the circle

"i saw her carrying a flute case once" van said shakily taking in a sharp breath and lottie put her hand on ethan's shoulder

"oh, lord, please accept rachel goldman into your arms, so that she may fill your kingdom with music, please accept coach martinez into your glory, too and flight attendant janet, pilot robert, pilot fred" laura lee said before taking breath

"even thought i walk through the valley of the shadow of death" marley zoned out, thinking how could have she possibly have gotten here when she could've been hanging out with her brother or lottie

"the lord is my salvation, whom shall i fear?, the lord is my strength, whom shall i fear?" laura lee said before taissa interrupted

"im going for a walk" she said quickly before walking off, leaving the group

"yeah, we gotta ration" van said while looking down at the low supply of snacks/food they had

"okay, cut them" van said to shauna

"split this water" she told akilah

"here, close your eyes and pretend its bacon" shauna said while giving jackie half of the chocolate

"they're definitely dating" ethan whispered to his sister as the watched the two interact

"have to be" marley added in agreement

"dont spill any" akilah said as she poured a little bit of water into a few girls cups

"hey..misty said dont scratch" shauna said to jackie

"how's the side doing?" lottie asked marley

"uh, i think its doing pretty well, misty tied me up real good" marley said and lottie smiled sweetly at her

"you know, i dont think i could imagine being stuck out here with anyone else different than you, mar" lottie said and marley smiled and wrapped her arm around lottie
