travis and marley were down by the lake, jackie watched the two as they went to check if the net they had set up had caught anything 

"anything?" jackie asked loudly and marley pulled up the net and there was nothing there

"nope" they both said 

"why arent you out hunting?" jackie asked her younger brother

"told nat to go without me..i think she hates me" ethan said without turning around 

"something happen?" jackie asked and the twins looked at each other with confused looked on both of their faces 

"isnt it some philosopher who said, uh, "anything that can happen, will happen"?" ethan asked while jackie just stood there with her arms crossed 

"yeah, i dont know, i'll go check my old philosophers handbook" jackie said with a soft chuckle and marley rolled her eyes 

"i just, um, i think she likes me and...i think i fucked things up" ethan said, trying to be careful with his words so he wouldn't accidentally come out 

"relationships are bullshit anyways..trust me" jackie said with a shrug and marley snorted, ethan didnt want his sister to think that he liked natalie in that way 

"whatever you did, she'll get over it, lets face facts..nats standards are pretty low" jackie said, bringing out the 'e' in 'pretty' and ethan furrowed his brows for a second

"cool, thanks, but you know we're not-"

"you're basically brad pitt compared to the dirtbags she usually goes for" ethan sighed, running his damp hands through his hair, he wanted this conversation to be over 

"like, ugh, don't get me started on how many horrible guys she gets with" jackie complained and ethan didnt really care 

"cool, well we're gonna head back" ethan said simply as the two walked out the water, grabbing their shirts before walking off

the group sat outside as misty, mari and akilah walked up but no tai and van 

"oh my god, what happened?" jackie asked panic

"where the fuck are van and tai?" marley asked quickly as misty panted, almost collapsing but jackie caught her 

"she...she told, she told us to leave them" misty said, still panting heavily 

"we had to get help" laura lee grabbed misty by the shoulders, making her look up at her 

"show us which way to go" laura lee demanded and misty nodded

they made a plan to go at night so they waited for night

they gathered things they would need and once night came around they went out

"tai?! van?!" marley called out
