Okay... yet another poem inspired by the great and powerful (RUSSIAN!!!) Regina Spektor. Expect some more because I'm getting a bit obsessed. But, I'm obsessed with a lot of things...

Anyways, HERE Y'ALL GO!!!!! It is inspired by Regina's "Samson". Not about it, though... just inspired. :)

Downfall

I see you in the shade,

waiting for me with open arms.

I see you in my sleep,

holding me close.

I see you in my apartment,

whispering songs to my ear.

I see you in my pictures,

calling out for my comfort.

I see you in my newspaper,

Josh Vines died on April 14th.

In St. Maria Hospital

from a terrible case of cancer.

I miss you so much,

I need you with the deepest passion.

I wish you could come now,

plead to Him to bring you back.

Get the upper hand of the debate,

and beg for an exception.

Come back to my universe.

Back to our days of happiness.

You are my greatest downfall,

my deepest, but limited, treasure.

People say it's too sad but... here you go! Hope you liked it, tell me if you did(n't) and (hopefully) why! Voting not necessary, but EXTREMLY appreciated!!!!!

Also... I put a video of the song "Samson". Check it out!!! Can't get enough of Regina... wait... Regina's music. Awkward......

OWL HUGS AND DOLHIN KISSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!
