Chapter 52: I don't love you yet.

We all waited in Pansy's room as Annalise continued to perfect her jewelry and makeup, me and Pansy quickly grew bored from waiting for Anna to decide what earrings to wear so we played chess.

"Checkmate!" Pansy exclaimed as she stole my king with a spawn piece, now diagonally lined up with my queen, as I threw my hands up in frustration.

"You know my knight can capture your spawn, right?" i smirk.

She looks down at the pieces and realized i was in fact correct.

"Bella... don't you fucking dare or i'll make sure I trip at the party tonight and accidentally spill red wine all over your off-white dress." she threatens with a glare.

"Hm," i say knocking down her spawn with a smirk,"too late."

"You bitch!" she laughs, moving her horse that has not been moved the entire game,"guess im not drinking fire whiskey tonight and instead a glass of red wine."

"I'll be waiting for my new blood red colored dress." i say, then gasp."oh, by the way, i have something for you. I'll be right back."

I stand up, walking out of Pansy's room, already regretting it as my ears are filled with the loud music from the common room.

I walk up to my dorm when i run into him. But not him, him.

"Bella, why are you and the others not at the party tonight?" Enzo asks me, blocking my way so I couldn't go to my dorm.

"Oh, me and Pansy were just waiting for Anna to finish getting ready." I smile.

"Why don't you two go without her?" he asks, annoying me because we WOULD be at the party sooner if he let me pass by.

"We were just going to wait for her so we could go together, excuse me, i need to get to my dorm..." i say to him.

"I thought we were going together?" he asks, clearly not getting the hint.

"We are, i just-" i begin.

"You sure? Because, i don't mean to cause problems, but you and Anna seem unusually close.." he says sternly.

"What? How i don't even like her in the slightest Enzo-" i begin.

"You sure?" he asks"What if i told you she liked you back, because she did, would you leave me for her."

"Fuck no! She's a bitch to me!" I say to him, confused.

"Then what about Mattheo?" He asks,"You two are practically inseparable and i see the way you two look at eachother so don't lie to me Bella."

I take my hands and grab his face, pulling it closer to mine so that our foreheads are now touching along with our lips inches from colliding.

"Mattheo is just a friend." I roll my eyes, emphasizing the word "friend".

"If hes just a friend, then why do you love him more?" He asks with concern in his voice.

"Love?" i laugh,"I don't love anybody."

"So you don't love me?" He tilts his head.

"Enzo... love is a very strong and powerful word... plus we're not even dating." i say sympathetically.

"Do you want to be dating?" he asks with a smirk.

I smile a bit but i possibly regretfully reply,"I-I dont know what i want Enzo..." I say scratching the back of my neck then cupping his cheek as i stood on the points of my shoes to be at eye-level with him,"Why don't we go on a few dates first before deciding that, hm? "

"Alright, so thats a "no" for now then." he mutters.

"No, that's a "maybe "." i say as i kiss the tip of his nose and walk upstairs to my dorm to get the flowers i bought for Pansy, Mattheo and Enzo.

I head back into Pansy's and hands her the flowers i bought for her and she hands me my roses she bought for me.

I decide to take a rose from Enzo's bouquet and hand them to Anna bc why the hell not honestly?

"Thank you so much Bella!" Anna exclaims and places a kiss on my cheek before walking back over to Pansy's bed to grab a bouquet of dandelions she bought into the room earlier and hands them to me,"i bought these for you at the shop yesterday!"

She's blushing and i don't know why until it hits me, Anna has a crush on me doesn't she?

"Oh, are you ready yet anna?" Pansy asks fixing up her mascara a bit.

"Yep!" she says as she marches out the door and into the Common room where the party was being held.

As soon as i stepped out the door, the loud music immediately scared the shit out of me as they were playing really energetic music and when i looked over to see who was the DJ, it made sense.

Ron and Harry stood on the pedestal-stage thing taking shot after shot after shot.

I walk over to Harry with a teasing smirk, trying to keep myself from laughing. ( Not that kind of teasing smirk you horny bitches)

"You two look... Awake" i say squinting, not sure if that was the right word to use or describe it.

"Bella!" Harry jumps down,"i haven't talked to you in... well an hour... how are you?"

"Eh, i've been better; Enzos been bugging me lately." i roll my eyes.

"Yeah... he sounds like a real pain in the ass." he widens his eyes.

"Yeah but he means well" I sigh," what about you and Ginny?"

"Yeah... what about you and Ginny?" Ron inquires stumbling down.

"Oh, uhm... just the usual." Harry says, eyeing Ron nervously.

"You haven't been snogging my sister have you?" Ron says furrowing a brow.

"No! 'Course not Ron, you should know by now all me and your sister do is walk around holding hands and- and have tea parties. " Harry says sarcastically.

"Good." Ron says not picking up on the sarcasm.

"Oh merlin" Harry says,"I forgot about Ginny!"

He gives me a quick hug before heading out the door of the common room.

"I'll see you around Ronald McDonald" i say as i walk away trying to contain my laughter.

"I told you not to call me that!" he yells as i walk away to the couch where all my friends were.

"Hey, Bella" Blaise smiles as i sit down next to Pansy,
