Dallas POV
I was sitting down on a old rusting bench trying to get my lighter to work.Sometimes I think of what life would be like back in New York, back where gangs were more often.
There were some gangs left around here, not Socs or Greasers.
"Dal?" Came a familiar voice, it was Johnny. Johnnys probably the only thing keeping me up, he got jumped by a few Socs with rings not so long ago, which gave him a scar from his check bone-down.
I turned over, "oh, hey Jonnycake"
I puffed out smoke.
"What are you doing out here? I thought you were still in the cooler."
"Good behavior I guess, how's it going for you kid?"
"Nothing much, just the old man and gang"
"He still hitin' huh?" He gave a nod back, then silence after that.
"How are you and Sylvia?"
"Could be better"- I puffed out a gust of smoke - "Why?"
"Nothing, just wondering" He shrugged.
"Need a night to stay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I dont wanna see my dad again"
Johnny didn't have much of a great home life, and being a Greaser didn't help anything either, you'd constantly been getting jumped by socs.
"Mhm" I unwrapped my hand around him, "C'mon Kid, I'll bring you to Darry's"
He sat up, "okay"

I knocked on the door, seeing Soda.
Soda was one of the first people I met in the gang, and the only decent person here.
He was kind, sweet, caring, funny, and cute.
That doesn't mean I'm gay though...
"Hey Dallas" He greeted.
"Hey Pepsi, Johnny needs a place to stay, it wont be a hastle if he stayed right?"
Soda laughed, "nope! Ponys upstairs"
Johnny thanked Soda and walked up stairs to see Ponyboy.
" I gotta head, Sylvia waiting for me at the park"
"M'kay" He said, "See'ya later Dallas"
I just smiled and nodded.

"Hey salv" I said, waking over and wrapping an arm around her waist.
"Dallas... I have to talk to you" She said, swatting my hand away.
"Woah there hot stuff, what's the matter?"
"This Dallas, this is the problem." She glared.
"What do you mean?"
"Dally, we both know you." She said, "Your in with a girl, but you hook-up with other woman all the time, and I can't stand it"
"What are you trying to say? That I'm not good enough?" I asked.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying" She looked sad, "Dallas I'm sorry, but we have to break up.."
