Chapter 28: Its like seeing an Elephant be Afraid of a Mouse

"Hey dad will I go on the internships thing?" Asked Izuku

Aizawa dreaded this question. He didn't want Izuku go with someone he didn't trust and he trusted nobody

But he didn't want to hinder the boy from receiving the same experiences that his classmates will receive, even though they were more or less just going to be treated as guests

All the UA staff still had work to do and-

"Izuku can you come with me" Todoroki says appearing behind the two

The dual coloured boy greatly startled the father and son duo, that the teacher had jumped out his chair and was on the floor and Izuku was so spooked he had attached himself to the ceiling

Todoroki to was startled by the sudden movements

"Todoroki!?" Aizawa questioned. Shocked to see the kid here

"I was helping Present Mic carry some papers" Todoroki quickly explained himself

Said pro hero was dying from laughter in the corner. The other staff had seen as well and was trying to hold back their laugh

Aizawa just sighed and got back in his chair. Izuku detached himself from the ceiling and landed on his legs

"Don't do that again please" Izuku begged his friend.

Todoroki wanted to apologize for going all out in the sports festival but Izuku had already been taken home so he waited for school to do so. Izuku however told him not to since going all out was what he was trying to get Todoroki to do. Anyway since then Todoroki had integrated himself into Izuku's group

"Anyway what did you mean go with you?"

"Come with me to Endevour's agency" Todoroki says once more

Aizawa was skeptical about this.

There were are bunch of other heroes that had placed a vote for Izuku.

Like Hawks... the guy probably saw Izuku sprout wings and voted for him.

Miruko...

Rejected.

The woman is a good hero but she's more or less a wild card.

Also why did she put in a vote. The underground pro thought she didn't do stuff like this.

Izuku doesn't want to go since Bakugo seems to be going there

Why on earth did some of the top pros vote for Izuku, Aizawa wonders and goes though the list again

Apparently most of the heroes that voted for Izuku were heroes with mutant quirks or had Morphing quirks

"But I didn't get a vote from Endevour's Agency?" Izuku says

"That can be arranged" says Todoroki

Izuku looks at his friend. Dumbstruck and in disbelief

Aizawa simply pinched the bridge of his nose

"Is there any particular reason for this?"

Todoroki simply turned away and thought about his reason 

"It's like seeing an elephant being afraid of a mouse" he says a bit quietly.

And then he snorts and tries not to laugh.

Ah... that's the reason.

Why not then? Despite the man's obsession to suppress Allmight, he was still a decent Hero who knew what to do. The hero's home life however raised more than a few questions with Todoroki showing up with that scar on his face. He doesn't know the details however
