After their landing, the two girls searched their way through the airport to find their awaiting taxi, that would be driving them to their hotel. Shortly after, Mia found the taxi and as they got in, she showed the driver the address to the hotel they would be staying in.
The drive was about thirty minutes long and they got to see the landscape in full sight. Shops, markets, and hotels in every direction, and then finally theirs. It was rather small than the others since they are only staying for a few weeks but they will have everything they need for good well-being.

"Ugh, finally," Mia said when they both entered their shared hotel suite. It was already dark outside because the drive took longer than they thought and there was nothing else to do than unpack their luggage.
"Let's unpack one half now and the other half tomorrow morning. We have plenty of time anyway." Kendall suggested and Mia agreed with a nod. After unpacking some stuff they got ready for bed and quickly tried to fall asleep since they would be explore the city tomorrow.
In the morning, Kendall was the first one to wake up and quickly shook Mia awake. "Rise and shine," Mia stirred in her sleep. Kendall decided to just let her sleep for ten more minutes and got ready herself.
After being done in the bathroom, Kendall woke Mia up and she got ready in the bathroom. Meanwhile, Kendall decided to unpack the rest of her stuff and then questioned herself what to wear. After like five minutes she chose a simple outfit for the right weather.
"You know what I just remembered. We still need football jerseys for the game or we end up looking like complete losers." Mia mentioned while coming out of the bathroom.
"We can buy some in town. I'm sure there's a shop for them." I agreed and after she was done dressing her up, they took their bags and got out of the hotel room. The sun greeted the two brunettes as they walked outside the hotel and explore their surroundings.
Spanish wasn't a problem for them both, since they both have Hispanic parents and grew up with the language. Mia grew up in France and then moved to London for University, so she's trilingual. The hotel was only a walk away from the shopping street so they walked.
"There!" Mia pointed at a shop with a big text saying 'hala madrid', "We will get some shirts there." Relieved, they went in and saw different kind of jerseys of the biggest club in the world.
"I'm gonna go broke after this, I swear." Kendall mentally prepared herself before taking a nameless jersey since she doesn't have a favorite player yet. Mia did the same and they both went to the cashier.
"Serán 90€, por favor." The cashier scanned the shirt and gave Kendall a smile, while packing the jersey in a bag. Meanwhile, Mia was already done and had her shirt in a bag. I gave her the money and took the bag and smiled, "Gracias."
"I swear she did it on purpose, the shirt better gives us luck." Mia rolled her eyes and her best friend couldn't help but laugh. Both of them went to get something to eat and ended up in a cafe, where they ordered a cold brew caramel. In the evening they went back to the hotel and were prepared for the upcoming match.
