I was officially a princess. Wedded, traditionally and royally. I was someone's wife, the prince's' to be exact. As I was sitting on my bed trying to figure out how to feel, the door opened revealing a stoic Kuhle. How that girl managed to look so serious all the time baffled me."Are you ready princess?" I nodded, getting up and taking hold of my suitcase. "Don't bother with that, the guard will take care of your belongings," She gestured for me to follow her out. I sighed, it's gonna take some time to get over this feeling, this foreign feeling I felt every time someone did something for me.
I had my own damn hands for fucks sake, I didn't like this feeling that was for sure.
"I can carry my own bag Kuhle, and I will carry my own bag." I grabbed my suitcase and dragged it out. She could frown till she gets wrinkles for all I care, I was not some spoiled or handicapped damsel.
Upon arriving at the chambers of the prince, I found it empty. I don't know what I was expecting but honestly, I was glad. I hated that guy, a lot. "I'll leave you to get familiar with the place Your Highness," Kuhle bowed and exited the room.
I was left alone yet again. I missed my home, as twisted as that may sound considering the condition I was living under. At least I was independent and free, unlike here. Every ceremony that was held these past few days felt like torture. Every single time I asked myself why I was in this predicament.
I crawled onto the bed after arranging my clothes in the wardrobe. I had to move a lot of things from that wardrobe, I was tired. Consumed by my thoughts, sleep found me. The next time I woke up, a body was hovering over me, glaring.
I jumped, startled until my back hit the headboard.
"What the hell are you doing!!?" I glared at the prince. "What are you, a psycho?" I clutched the fleece close to my chest, suddenly feeling naked even though I was clothed.
"What are you doing here?" His voice did scare me, especially since it was so deep. What the hell did it look like I was doing?
"I was sleeping, until you psychopath crept up on me like the damn psycho you are. What is your deal!?" I was now getting up and headed to the bathroom, and away from that man.
"And you thought of doing that in my room?" He made it by my side in seconds and grabbed my forearm turning me around. I glared at his hand on my arm. "Get out of my room." his voice was low and threatening.
I scoffed.
"In case you missed it, we are married, and as a married couple, we are supposed to share a room. Now I would appreciate it if you took your hand off my arm." I wasn't backing down from this man, I wasn't about to let him walk over me like that. He dropped my arm and fumed out of the room. Good riddance!
"What is wrong with this family?" I was very much regretting ever saving that man, why did I ever!?
___
"Here's what's going to happen, (a) you stay out of my way, (b) you don't break rule (a). I hope we clear." As soon as my so-called husband came into the room he started throwing orders at me. The disrespect, as if I wanted to associate with him more than I already had been.
"You know, for someone of high class, your mind is really poor, very disappointing." I flipped the page of the book I was reading.
"I didn't ask for an evaluation of my life, if anything you should check yourself. Just stay invisible," he snatched the book out of my hands. I gaped at him. "And don't touch my stuff," he grumbled to the walk-in closet.
"Oh my God, you are so childish. And who said I want to be around you anyway!!" I know, I also was being childish.
Since I had already taken a shower, I changed into my sleepwear. A pair of dark pink pants, and a lighter shade of pink thin strapped top. I earlier on found out that the couch was a pullout bed, and I was using it to sleep. I took a pillow on the bed and made a bed on the couch.
The bathroom door opened, letting out a gush of stem. The prince came out wearing a towel. It was the second time seeing the man half naked, and I'll let you know he was one fine specimen.
Water dropped down his dark-skinned abs. His legs were toned, long, and a little hairy. I looked away immediately, but it was too late I had already been caught. The prince chuckled, shaking his head.
"What's funny?" I glared at him as I climbed on my bed.
"You all the same, just here for money and this." He gestured to his body. I gagged. Could this guy get any narcissistic? "I gotta give it to you, well done on getting inside the palace," He disappeared into the closet and came back wearing only basketball shorts.
"I'm not into you, you disgust me. I wouldn't dream of being with someone like you, but we don't all get what we want now do we?" I scoffed.
I gasped in surprise. Samkelo had made it to the couch in seconds and was now hovering over me with a heated gaze. "Are you sure about that? Because I think I saw you checking me out a few minutes ago," his knee got in between my legs, and his fingers took hold of the thin strap of my pajama top and let it fall from my shoulder.
"I- I so wasn't!" I blinked, probably too much.
"W-what are you doing?" I panicked as he came even closer. I could feel his breath on my lips, I could feel him on top of me. His eyes went to my chest, came back to my lips, and then my eyes."Checking something." He whispered before brushing my lips with his. I closed my eyes in anticipation. What was I waiting for? Why did I close my eyes? "It doesn't look like I disgust you, princess." he chuckled.
Opening my eyes, I felt a gush of air. Samkelo was now moving to his bed. I opened my mouth to talk but nothing came out. What the hell was that?
