He had woken up moments earlier, a mess of curls as he leant against the side of the couch where he had passed out the night before with the film still playing. Sara had also fallen asleep, head on his chest with his arm around her waist to pull her closer as they slept.
Harry watched her. Little breaths escaped her lips as her bangs blew backwards and forwards in response to her breath. She was curled into his side, her warmth radiating into his own skin. The sunshine personified. His hand moved upwards to brush her hair out of her face and away from the slight smudges of mascara under her eyes.
She was a mess of a woman, a glorious mess in fact.
Then suddenly, her bright blue eyes opened and met his.
"Good morning, love." Harry said, smiling at the slight flush that ran to her face as she realised they position.
"Hi." Sara responded, blinking owlishly at him in a way that filled Harry with a certain emotion he could not name.
It wasn't that they weren't comfortable with one another. Both were very loving people, quick to appreciate every little think about others and so it had come naturally to share a blanket or zip a top or whatever you will.
And yet still, something about his arms around her waist made her skin tingle in the most delightfully frightening way.
"So what do you wanna of today?" Sara asked, leaning out of the touch to sit up and rub her eyes. Leaving Harry cold, something that suddenly unnerved him.
"Hike?" He put forward, crossing his arms across his chest as he watched her contemplate the idea, head leaning to the side slightly like a puppy dog. "I have a new film camera I really want to try out."
"That sounds perfect."
