The weekend was over, but the memory was there to stay forever. After our date, Hayden gave me a ride back to my house, kissed me on the cheek, and went home.

I didn't want the night to end. After experiencing the best orgasm I've ever had, I wanted him to come inside and show me how many more he could draw out of me. But when I asked him if he wanted to come inside, he refused. I was starting to think he might know I'm a virgin and doesn't want to scare me off.

Despite only running on four hours of sleep because I couldn't sleep, I woke up rejuvenated and excited to see Hayden the following morning.

After stopping by the library to return a few books and check out a few more, I met up with Harper in the art studio before my first class. She's been dying to know how our date went. And while I won't tell her that he brother fingered me on the Ferris wheel, everything else was safe to say.

Harper was doing a hyper realistic drawing of an apple out of oil pastels for another art class. I'd already taken the class last semester since I'm an art major and she only minors in the arts. For my piece, I'd chosen to do a portrait of my mom. It's now sitting in my closet collecting dust, but every now and then, I take it out and look at it.

"Looks good, Harps."

"Thanks," she said, standing up straight and turning to me with a smile. "So, are you going to keep me waiting or are you going to tell me how your date went?"

"It was amazing." I told her about the different games we played and how Hayden beat me on every last one. "We had so much fun."

"I'm glad you guys had fun. Hayden wouldn't tell me anything when I asked him about it, that little dipshit."

A chuckle had my upper body shaking. "Probably because he knew I would end up telling you."

She shrugged. "Probably."

Harper and I spent the rest of the time talking about art before I had to leave for my Organic Chemistry class. I was in the fine arts building and had to book it all the way to the science building before Professor Nguyen closed the door.

I was heaving like crazy and had to use my inhaler when I got there, but luckily, I had made it with two minutes to spare.

My lips curl, the smile on my face reaching my eyes when I spot Hayden seated in his usual spot. His head was down, his attention focused on whatever was on his phone.

There wasn't anyone on either side of him. But as soon as I took a step in his direction, a group of girls swooped in and took the open seats.

I cursed under my breath and decided to go to my usual seat a few rows in front of Hayden. Then I unzipped my backpack and grabbed my notebook and a pen to write with.

I looked up when I felt someone ruffle my hair. I was getting ready to scold them when I realized it was Hayden. He climbed over the seats and sat down in the open chair on the left of me.

"Hey, Pearl," he greeted with a grin.

"Why aren't you sitting with your fans?" I teased, glancing back at the group of girls he'd ditched for me. They had the biggest frowns on their faces, clearly displeased that he'd chosen a different spot. And beside me, no less.

"I'd rather sit with you." He slung his arm around me and sighed. "Besides, you take better notes than I do."

I glanced at the notes in his notebook. His handwriting was beautiful and everything was color-coded and organized. I didn't know what he was talking about. He put my bland notes to shame. I've been using the same black pen since the semester started. I didn't have time to make my notes gorgeous with how fast these professors go through slides.

Fifty minutes later, class was over. Professor Nguyen had handed back exams, which I aced, and spent the rest of the class period talking about haloalkanes and their nomenclature. While informative, it was rather draining.

I put my things back in my backpack before following Hayden out into the hallway. "I have an hour before my next class." I bit my lip, hoping he'd get the hint that I wanted to go back to his dorm.

"About that," he said, seeming to catch the hint. Though his eyes were filled with uncertainty and not the lust I'd hoped would appear.

He took my hand in his, gently pulling me down the hall away from possible eavesdroppers. I was tugged into an empty classroom, the door closed behind us.

He let go of my hand and combed his fingers through his hair. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

"Why, because I'm a virgin?" I questioned, my tone harsher than I wanted it to be.

Hayden sighed. "No, I- wait, you're a virgin?"

He was staring so hard and suddenly, I wanted to shrink into myself. "Y-Yeah. Is that... a problem?"

He shook his head. "No, of course not. I've only been taking things slow because I'm afraid of fucking this up." He let out another sigh. "I really like you, Pearl."

I smiled at that. "I like you, too, Isaacs."

The smirk that appeared faltered, a serious expression taking its place. "Are you sure you want me to be your first?"

I gave it some thought, then said, "yes, I'm sure."

Many might feel things are moving pretty damn fast between us considering we've only just really started to get to know each other a few weeks ago. But this is the first time I've been this sure about something. I'm constantly overthinking about every little thing.

But when I'm with Hayden, I don't have the urge to second guess everything. I'm comfortable around him. And I trust him.

Hayden nodded and pulled me into his muscular arms. A sweet kiss was planted on my forehead, his lips soft against my skin. "If you feel you're ready for it, then come by my dorm tonight at seven."

"Okay."

Oh, shit.

I'm about to have sex with Hayden Isaacs.
