"I have no idea how to make a cake," Jack says as he sets down the ingredients I told him to get "Well it's a box, with the ingredients you have to use on it," I laugh while I grab a mixing bowl out 

"Great that you know," He says while sitting at one of the two bar stools I have in my kitchen "You just need to bake more," I laugh and he rolls his eyes

"Would you mind getting the eggs out of the fridge, and grab the vegetable oil?" I ask him nicely "I guess," He says sarcastically while getting up to walk toward the fridge 

I grab a mixing spoon and then I also pre-heat the oven to what the number on the box says. Jack sets down the vegetable oil and eggs next to me, and I say a quiet thank you. I pour the batter into the mixing bowl before setting the package to the side. 

"Do you wanna mix or do you want me to mix?" I ask him before I put the wet ingredients in the bowl "We both can, when your arms get tired then I'll do it," He says and I smile

I crack one egg into the bowl and then another. I grab my measuring cups out of the drawer and pour the vegetable oil into the amount needed, "You look so calm doing this," Jack says while leaning on his arm 

"Because baking is a peaceful thing," I laugh slightly before I start to mix the batter together "Okay I brought you food are you gonna show me some of your songs?" He asks impatiently

"Hmm maybe," I say and he scoffs "When this is baking, I'll show you one, maybe two of the songs," I say while I continue mixing what's in the bowl 

 "Or you could just show me them all," he shrugs "I mean I know they're all about me so," He says and I look up at him while my jaw drops in shock 

"What?! I know they are," He laughs and I roll my eyes "Don't wanna boost your ego even more," I say and he laughs 

"Not all of them are about you," I emphasize the 'all' "But most?" He questions 

"Most," I say and he smiles "I wouldn't be smiling if I were you," I say knowing which songs I'm going to show him already 

"Oh boy," He says while running a hand through his hair "Do you wanna mix, my arm hurts?" I ask him but before he can answer I already hand him the bowl 

"Oh yeah sure I'd love to," he laughs before I grab the pan and start to spray stuff on it so the cake doesn't stick "You should become a chef," Jack laughs as he mixes 

"Last time I made food for you, I burnt it, I definitely don't think I should be a chef," I laugh as I crack my knuckles 

"but you're making this," He says "It's a box cake, anyone can make them," I laugh "True, but not me," He says

"Okay, now show me the music," He says as I finished putting the cake into the oven "Hold on," I laugh while walking into the living room and he trails behind me 

"At least tell me the titles now," he says as we sit on my new couch "Hmm, one is Best and the other is Camden," I sigh 

"Love it already," He says and I laugh "Okay, are you ready?" I ask him as I pull up the voice recordings on my phone 

"Yes," he says and I smile before clicking play, as the song plays I look at his face to see how he feels but he holds the same facial expression the whole time. Once the song ends I look at him waiting for him to say something 

"Well I might cry so don't look at me," he says and I laugh "I cried too," I say and he looks up at me 

"Well of course you cried, you wrote this," He says while pointing to my phone "Want to hear the next one?" I ask with a smile on my face 

"yes," He nods and I click play on it. This time he shows more facial expressions, sad ones, and good ones. When I wrote all my other music Jack was always the second person I showed my music to and he was supportive of me every time. 

"I like it," He says truthfully once the song ends "Do you?" I ask and he nods 

"These are really good, like so good that I think you should show me more," He laughs "I'll show you one more, it's called Rockland," I say and he smiles

They're won't be any updates this weekend because I'm going to a TAYLOR SWIFT concert, which I'm unbelievably excited about because I get to see Gracie and Phoebe also.
