About 20 miles south from where Reyna landed, the JEM-9 lands on both feet after its own journey through time. It stretches its poly-alloy limbs and surveys its surroundings as it assumes the form of a red-haired woman.
It appeared to be standing in the middle of the road. It turns its head to read the billboard to its right: 30 miles north until Santa Fe.
Behind it, the JEM-9 hears the low rumble of a motorcycle slow to a stop. It turns around to find a young woman stopping her motorcycle and walking towards it.

"I need your clothes and your motorcycle." The JEM-9 says coldly, looking down at the woman.
The woman scoffs. "Over my dead body."
The JEM-9 closes its eyes and reopens them to find a copy of itself at its side.
The woman backs away and bumps into her motorcycle, trying to process what she just experienced. "H-hey I-I-I didn't mean any trouble." She reaches for something in a satchel strapped to her motorcycle.
It wasn't long before the woman was knocked unconscious and stripped of her belongings. The JEM-9s unite so its original counterpart could clothe itself. The JEM-9 duplicates itself again, both now fully clothed. The JEM-9s nod once at each other before setting off in different directions, one on foot and the other on a motorcycle.
