The JEM-9 pulls out of Beckton and begins to follow the stolen police car. It had taken a while to track Reyna and John. Had they not stopped in Beckton, the JEM-9 would have never found them.
All of a sudden, Reyna pulls over to the side of the road. The JEM-9 quickens its following speed. Then, just as quickly as Reyna pulls over, she pulls out of the side of the road. What was she doing? No matter, its job was to terminate the supersoldier, young general, and his mother, not to find out why.
It inches closer and closer to Reyna and John and begins to reach for its pistol. The JEM-9 catches Reyna looking in her rearview mirror, spotting the Terminator. She veers to the left of the road. She and John were switching seats.
The JEM-9 surveys its surroundings. The desert sand was beginning to turn into fields of grain. Thankfully, there were no civilians in the way. Only it and John and Reyna.
It rams into Reyna and John, propelling them further. Both cars pick up speed.
The JEM-9 rolls down the car window and begins shooting at John and Reyna. The supersoldier barks an order to John, who begins swerving the car like a snake. Reyna rolls down her passenger window and climbs halfway out, positioning herself on the frame of the window. She loads her rifle and begins shooting back at the JEM-9, which duplicates itself until one was in the driver's seat and the other was shooting back at Reyna.
The rear window of Reyna's car and the front window of the JEM-9's car soon became a tangled web of cracks. Bullets bury themselves in the cars' lacquer.
Then, the JEM-9 was aiming for John, who lowered himself into his seat while keeping his eyes on the road. Now, it aims for Reyna.
Just as she ducks inside the car to grab a round, a bullet from the JEM-9 grazes her shoulder. The supersoldier screams, presses her hand on the gunshot wound, and returns to the passenger seat. Reyna then repositions herself on the window ledge with a new load, bloody shoulder, and a snarl on her face. One of her bullets punctures the front wheel of the JEM-9s' car, slowing their speed. Another one shatters the window.
The JEM-9 refuses to back down. It aims for Reyna's chest and fires, only to realize that she was wearing a bulletproof vest.
John yells indistinctly at Reyna and tosses something flaming at her. Reyna then tosses the flaming object at the JEM-9s.
The JEM-9 driver swerved to the left, but it was too late. The flaming object, a makeshift molotov, breaks through whatever was left of the front window and explodes into flames.
