Karan ordered food for both of them in his cabin and went for a call

Monami's POV

I am not scared because they tried to harass me but the thought of them killing or hurting Karan, that thought definitely killed me from inside. I know it was type off forced marriage but God, I am actually falling for this guy. Like how can someone like me, not? I don't know if it's just an attraction or what but I genuinely want him, not because he's forced to be with me. I want him to feel exactly the way I feel for him.

End of Monami's POV

Soon Karan came back to his cabin and sat beside Monami on the couch

K: How are you Monami?

M: Huh??

K: Tum theek ho Monami??

M: Haan halki si chot lagi hai bas waise bhi Main kaafi strong hu mujhe koi farak nahi padta

K: I am serious Monami, aur main sirf in bruises ki baat nahi kar raha main tumhari total health ki baat kar raha hu

Karan said with such a serious face that Monami's smile fade away

M: Shayad pehle nahi thi par tumse milke?? I am completely fine

Karan sigh in relief

K: Are you flirting with me Monami??

M: Itni gandi flirting skills nahi hai meri Mr. Husband

K: Acha toh exactly kaisi hai aapki flirting skills

Monami didn't said anything and stand up infront of Karan and sat on his lap and her arms around his neck
Here Karan was fighting with himself to not touch her but unwantedly he snaked his hand around her waist

M: To be honest tumse flirt karne ki zarurat hi nahi hai tum aise hi mere ho

Zaban fisal gayi

K: Excuse me???

M: Uh..woh...main.. kuch nahi

She was about to stand but Karan's hold on her tightened Monami slowly moved her gaze just to find Karan staring at her
Her light brown eyes straight looking into his dark brown eyes
They were quiet for few minutes
Then Karan broke the silence

K: Mat jaao na please

Monami saw some tears in his eyes, her eyes got widened because she never saw Karan showing any kind of expressions other than happy and being emotional was the last thought she would've been expected

She completely turned towards him and cupped his face

M: Karan are you ok?? Kya hua tumhe ro kyu rahe ho

K: Tumhare wajah se

M: Me..meri wajah se?? Maine kya Kara??
