Recap: Date night

So let's start the chapter

They stayed there for a while and about to go back home

Karan drove the car this time and stopped his car behind a park

M: Karan hum yaha kyu ruk gaye hai??

K: Tumhe icecream khani hai??

M: ICECREAM!!!??? Yes ofcourse

She shouted like a kid

Karan smiled and showed her the icecream parlour

Monami without looking at him undone her seat belt and rushed to the parlour
Karan's smiled widened and he too undone his seatbelt and rushed beside her, he gently hold her wrist and pulled her towards him so that the cars on the roads couldn't harm her

M: Tum na bigad rahe ho mujhe

K: Main? Kaise

M: Itni care karte ho ki main careless ho gayi hu!

K: Tum humesha se careless hi ho Monami

M: Haww kya

Karan without saying anything intermingled their fingers and walked to the parlour, Monami smiled and took her hand away only for looping her arm with Karan's arm and rested her head on his shoulder

Before they could reach their Karan got a call from an unknown number and he was about to move slightly far to attend it but Monami was not leaving him Karan was about to ask her to let him attend the call but the call get disconnected and and a notification took place on his screen among 100's

He opened it and that message was from the same unknown number, there was a photo, he downloaded it and saw it was Monami and Karan's photo that too from that very moment when Monami looped their hands

Karan waited as the person was typing

UNKNOWN NUMBER: So Mr. Shergill, apni wife mein itne kho gye ho ki logon ke calls ka pata hi nahi chal raha hai?

UNKNOWN NUMBER: By the way she's so pretty, how much did you paid for her?

Karan disgusted and started looking here and there to find that person, anger took over him totally and he looked at Monami to control his anger as she's the only one who brings peace in his life

Monami, all this while was looking at him and tried to understand what happened to him but when he looked directly into her eyes she could feel the pain, anger, fear, and something else too which feels nothing but everything to her

She cupped his face and gently caress his cheek

M: It's ok, hum ghar chaltey hai thik hai?

Karan's anger faded away but he's feeling guilty for spoiling their moods

M: And don't you dare to feel guilty, kyuki jo maine plan kara tha woh sab toh ache se ho gya, even best way mein

She smiled at him while he was just looking at her

K: I am sorry Monami

M: Offo tumhe English mein sirf sorry bolna aata hai kya? Jab dekho tab sorry. Karan, I love you and I don't care about these things I just want you. So be it home or here, kya farak padta hai

Karan not being able to hold his emotions anymore hugged her tightly and buried his face in the crook of her neck, Monami started patting his back

K: Mujhe bhi ek simple life chahiye, nah koi tension nah koi nafrat. Sirf tum aur main. Why my life is so complicated

He said while his lips brushing over her neck while saying which sent shivers down her body

M: Let's end this Karan. Everything, every enemy, every sadness

She said in a determined toned, Karan nodded and backed off
He wrapped his arm around her waist and this time he rested his head on her

After 30 Minutes they reached their home and entered their room

Karan changed his clothes in the closet while Monami went to take a bath

Karan came out and again he got a call from another unknown number, this time he picked it up and answered it

The person said something which scratched his old wounds, and he started breathing heavily

Monami came out of the bathroom and as soon as he heard her voice he disconnected the call

M: Karan, Kya hua sab theek hai? Kiska call tha?

Karan's anger leashed out and now even Monami is going to see his disastrous side

He pinned her to the wall and while holding both her hands above her head with one hand and his other hand waist

His grip was so tight on her hand that it was turned red within few seconds

Few tears filled in her eyes but knowing the fact that he's hiding something really big from her, she does not wanted to judge him soon

K: Don't try to control me. You better stay away from me if you love your life

His voice was colder than ever and he said this in the most dangerous tone she ever heard

M: Karan, it's me Monami. Calm down please, you're hurting me

K: Hurt mujhe bhi hua tha, tab toh koi nahi aaya mujhe sambhalne, ab kyu aayi ho tum

Monami's breath stopped for a second, one more, few more and finally she gathered some guts took a deep breath

M: Tum batao toh sahi hua kya hai, I know jab tumhe sabse zyada zarurat thi tab koi nahi tha tumhare saath but ab toh main hu na? Please let me help you

K: You really wanna help me??

Monami nodded and Karan pressed his entire body on her, he leaned towards her ear and whispered in her ears brushing her lips on the ear shell

K: Please chali jaao yaha se, dur jaao inn sab cheezon se

Monami's heart ached hearing karan's light sobs

He pulled himself back and she saw tears in his eyes, even though he is not in his senses but he can't hurt Monami more than this

She cupped his face stood on her toes and kissed his forehead

M: Calm down Karan

She sat on the bed and pulled him on her lap and started caressing his hairs
Soon he dozed off and while hugging her waist and buried his face in her belly

M: Main sab theek kardungi Karan I promise
