THREE DAYS LATER, Kamari sat cross-legged on her bedroom floor, her eyes filled with excitement as she poured out the details of the past month to her younger sister, Amaya.
The room was adorned with posters of influential women, creating an atmosphere of empowerment and inspiration. Her room was very modern with its white marble floors.
Amaya leaned in closer, hanging onto every word. "Tell me what happened on your birthday! You mentioned something about dinner?"
Kamari's smile widened, and she recounted the beautiful evening that had unfolded on her special day.
"Well, he surprised me with dinner on the beach. When we arrived, there was a trail of rose petals leading to an area he had reserved just for us. It was so romantic, Maya. I felt like I was in a movie or something."
