Another home game.

I asked Kelly if I could bring Natalie to the game, since she was a huge Hawks fan. She agreed and I excitedly let Natalie know.

I finished getting ready and drive over to Nat's apartment 5 minutes away. She saw me pull in and came outside. "LILAH IM SO EXCITED THANK YOU SO MUCH!" She practically screamed.

"Yeah yeah, I know I'm pretty great." I said while flipping my hair dramatically.

"You wish," Natalie responded.

I grinned and looked over at her. "You loooove me."

"I'm only doing it for the tickets."

I gasped. "How rude!"

I pulled into the UC and parked the car. We walked in and I went to my usual office where I met Mark and Ally. Natalie tagged along; she would sit by me behind the bench.

It was finally game time. The boys were playing against the St. Louis Blues, so we knew it was going to be a rough game. After the first period it was 1-0 Blues.

Natalie and I cheered on with the rest of the fans once the players came back out on the ice. Sharpie got a quick goal, tying the game up. During the third period, no one scored. The Hawks had a bunch of chances but they just couldn't get the puck in the net.

The game went into overtime. We watched nervously, not sure if our boys could pull it off.

Suddenly, Shaw got a breakaway. Kane skated up the opposite side of the ice and they had Saad trailing in the middle. Shaw faked a shot, then passed the puck to Kane. He faked a shot, skated closer to the goal, and did a spin-o-rama and SCORED!

"HAWKS WIN!" The announcers yelled. I got out my camera and snapped shot after shot of the team celebrating. They raised their sticks up and the crowd cheered even louder.

I decided to bring Natalie back into the locker room with me. "C'mon, we're going to the locker room," I told her.

We walked down to the locker room and waited for all their interviews to be done. We entered the room and I made my way over to Sharp. "Sharpie! Nice game out there," I greeted him.

"Thanks. Who's your friend?" He asked, averting his eyes to Natalie.

For a moment, I was scared she would just sit there and stare. But then she put her hand out and said, "I'm Natalie, nice to meet you."

We talked with him for a bit before moving on to the other players. I swear Nat almost fainted when I introduced her to Hjalmmerson. We finally made our way over to where Toews and Kane were talking.

"Hey Tazer! Great game," I said with a smile.

Patrick cleared his throat expectantly. "Good job, Patrick," I mumbled.

He looked at me expectantly again. "And good overtime goal. That was cool," I muttered reluctantly.

He smiled, showing off his pearly whites. "Why thank you Del. I'm sure you took some great pictures," he replied.

I stiffened at the nickname. "Please call me Delilah." I led Natalie away and we left the locker room.
