Doctor: I think you need to admit her into a  hospital

Shyam: why doctor?

Doctor: I don't think it's a normal thing and we will need to review her previous medical reports before we can make a decision

Shyam: okay doctor

Khushi was admitted in the hospital and Shyam called Aliyah who rushed to come it India after learning her daughter's condition, Anjali and all the family members were waiting for an explanation after all the formalities and paperwork were done

Anjali: now Shyamji the doctors will take care of Khushi but I need an explanation on why a 19 years old will call you dad when you introduced her as your sister.

Nani: we are all waiting damadji please enlighten us

Mami: hello hi bye bye I'm speechlesswa now

Shyam: well I'm sorry Ranisaheba I didn't mean to keep it from you but I couldn't bring myself to tell you when you were still mourning over your miscarriage.

Anjali: why did you introduced her as your sister and how is it even possible Shyamji

Shyam: Khushi was born when I was still young, her mother was my highschool girlfriend and we happened to get pregnant, she wanted to keep the baby but we were both scared to tell our families so she run away to the state to start over whiles I combined studies and work so that I could take care of them, when Khushi was born her mother decided to continue school in the state and she too combined studies and work everything was going on as we planned and I was going to propose marriage to her when my mother fell sick making me marry you.

Anjali: what? you meant to tell me that I was the reason why you didn't marry Khushi's mother.

Shyam: you were not but my mother was the reason, they never knew I was married until Khushi's mother wanted Khushi to come to India to stay with me and I didn't know what to do but to tell her the truth and Khushi only found out when she came to India, I told her to call me Bhai in front of the family and you because you have just lost your child and learning about her might hurt you

Anjali: so you made the decision for me Shyamji? I would have been hurt but I would still understand that seeing her already grown up I would have known she happened in the past, I lost my child yes and the doctor said I couldn't conceive again so I would have compensate my fate with the fact that I have a daughter even if she was my step daughter she is still a daughter Shyamji, what would have been Khushi's thoughts about me then she might have hated me thinking that I took her father away from her and she can't even call her dad because of me

Shyam: I'm sorry Ranisaheba but I didn't want to lose my daughter and also didn't want hurt you I just wanted you and Khushi accept each other before I tell you the truth

Anjali: I can't blame you and her for your past and I'm grateful that Khushi still liked me till now let's forget about it we just need to focus on her treatment now.

Nani: Anjali betiya is right let's forget about the past and focus on Khushi betiya because no matter how the relationship has change she is still our Khushi and I'm glad that she will be my great granddaughter if you don't mind damadji

Shyam: Nani I didn't say the truth because I was scared that you won't accept Khushi but I don't mind because Khushi is Anjali's daughter and Ranisaheba Khushi always calls you ma when ever we are alone talking about you

Anjali: really she calls me that (feeling genuinely happy after the revelation)

Mami: hello hi bye bye Anjali betiya forget about everything and focus on the future because Khushi betiya will be calling you that only

Akash: and sorry to say Bhai you are practically dating your niece
Akash's words brought their focus on Arnav who was thinking that or rather praying that this revelation won't let his di and family go against their relationship

Nani: damadji what has happened has happened already so we will talk when Khushi betiya recovers

Shyam: okay Nani

Anjali was about to say something when the doctor came to them

Doctor: please is there any medical records of the patient because the test results shows that she has undergone surgery before

Shyam: surgery on what exactly doctor?

Doctor: cardiac implant she has an  implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) in  her.

Shyam: what is that thing please explain

Doctor: I don't know the condition why she had an ICD implant but her heart rate exceeded the pulse monitor and it was good that you brought her earlier, the watch on her wrist is the monitor

Shyam: I never know about it but I know someone who has the answers please let me call her mother

As if on cue Aliyah was spotted rushing into the hospital in anger towards Shyam for her daughter's condition.

Shyam: good that you came what is the doctor saying Aliyah when did Khushi have a surgery and I didn't know about it?

Aliyah: why did you think she have become this way? because she has a weak heart and doctor's advise we make her happy, after the surgery I gave her everything she asked for and I made her do what ever she wanted to so that my daughter could live, Khushi was 5 years when she had the surgery, and I didn't tell you because my brain and heart didn't wanted to accept that fact Shyam I sent her here so that she can be happy with you but you have brought her to where I was avoiding all these years shyam what did you do to my daughter that she fainted?
Mark my words if anything happens to my daughter I will never let you live in peace

Shyam: my daughter had surgery and I didn't know about it for 14 years Aliyah I wouldn't have hit her if I knew I would have been my daughter's murderer if she had died and it's all because of you keeping it from me Aliyah

Aliyah: let's talk about what happened between you two after she recovers Shyam.

Anjali recognized the lady she met at the temple some months ago is the same woman standing here as Khushi's mother

Anjali: Aliyah what a small world indeed we met few months a go do you still remember

Aliyah: oh hi Anjali long time I still remember you I didn't know you were the woman Shyam married

Anjali: I didn't also know you are Khushi's mother

Aliyah: yeah true how is she by the way.

Doctor: she is stable please can you follow me there are few questions we need to ask regarding to her medical records.

Aliyah: okay sure lead the way (throwing an angry glare to Shyam she gave Anjali a warm smile before following the doctor)

Mami: hello hi bye bye Anjali betiya who would've thought that your English Wala friend is Khushi betiya's mother

Nani: Manorama is right betiya but I hope that Khushi betiya wakes up soon

Anjali: yes true Nani I will go to the temple in the hospital and do puja for her recovery

Mami, Payal and Akash: I will go with you betiya/di

Arnav remain there hoping that his Khushi wake up very soon he was glad that Khushi's mother is here he will talk to her when Khushi recovers so that he can take care of her.
