Chapter 26

"Hello?" I asked through the phone

I could hear rumbling through the end of the phone.

"What is it that you want, Yukio!" Madam Lilia spoke in her native tongue

"I accept the offer" I spoke sternly

"Well at least you didn't disturb my beauty sleep for nothing" she said in content

"All right I will book a flight I hope you still have your passport"

"Wait already?? Isn't this a little bit too fast" I asked

"Then when do you want to leave? It can only last for three days or so. You can say your goodbye to your friends or whatever" she said

"Give me one day and then I'll leave with you to Celestino" I said

"So you accepted his offer. Does he still open his arms to you"

"Yes"

Celestino agreed to be my new coach and also contacted the school that I will be dropping out of. Dad quickly handled the files. I already packed my bags all I need to do is say my goodbye to the team

I already informed coach  about my permanent absence and luckily he understood my situation

I walked into the gym filled with dedicated players so many of them. I looked at every single one of them seeing they have a chance in the nationals

I saw coach Nekomata. He gave me a sad smile and blew his whistle so all eyes on him. He asked them to gather and suddenly I had eye contact with the certain rooster head. 

He looks horrible, especially his eyes. Did he cry himself to sleep? Why should I care? He doesn't care about me either. He broke up with me. I don't have any connections with him 

"We are gathered here to a very important announcement by your manager" he announced I looked at them sadly 

"I have very sad news.... I'm going to resign as the manager of nekoma" I stated everyone shared their own disbelief at the news. Yamamoto already crying on the floor 

"Did something happen" Kenma asked 

"I'm going to leave Japan" I stated 

"Eh, why so soon??" Yaku asked 

"Could you at least stay for the tournament" Kai pleaded

"I can't"

"Why??" Inouka looked at me with an innocent look. I simply stared at him trying my best not to cry

"Because tomorrow is my flight and I couldn't miss it" I spoke sadly

"I'm really sorry guys' ' slowly tears started falling down my eyes. "I'm really sorry I couldn't see you in the nationals. I want to stay but I can't. I need a responsibility to fulfil. Please forgive me" I continued crying but suddenly felt a warm embrace by everyone

In the corner of the room I saw a   standing awkwardly. I felt a little disappointment in my chest. Why is he just standing right there by himself? Is he for real with the breakup? I want a mend relationship. I still love him but why doesn't he love me back. Why doesn't he admit his mistakes? Why doesn't he want to comeback with me 

He doesn't love me anymore with those cold eyes staring back at me. I couldn't handle it any longer.

I left and then saw Emi. I then hugged her

"I know you will be a great manager. Don't worry because I know you will do fine" I said with a smile 

I then looked at the court with all of the members. I smiled then bowed

"Thank you for having me"

I was packing my bag putting a few clothes since I'm only going to buy there new clothes 

The skates occupied the suitcase more than other of the items. I waited while looking through my phone. I stumbled upon pictures of me and Kuroo in the gallery. I felt my heart sink in pain.

"We look so happy. Why change? It's a waste" I said, deleting the photos I didn't want to see in the past. I need to face the future even though it hurts me. I want my future to continue with him.

I couldn't help but overthink. Until I hear the doorbell ringing. I immediately hoped it was him but it was crushed into pieces seeing madam Lilia with a frown 

Dad helped me with my bags and held my hand while going to the airport. We arrived there with a frown on my face 

"Sweetie please take care of yourself" my dad said as he kissed my forehead. Madam Lilia then approached us 

"Time to go" she speak I immediately looked at my dad and gave him one last hug

"Sweetie, I want to give you this gift when you get there," he said and placed it on my hand. I smiled

"Thanks dad I promise to make you proud" I said happily

"I'm already proud of Yuki. I'm so proud"

I quietly followed madam Lilia through the airport. Then suddenly heard commotion

"Stop we are already late for the flight" she said then

People were looking at the scene but madam Lilia pulled me away. I suddenly heard my name

"It is your imagination let's go" she said sternly

"What if it's not" I looked at her pleadingly 

"Imagination or not we must go" she spoke strictly and suddenly it was announced on the speaker that our flight will depart soon

She grabbed my arm so I simply complied

I sat at my seat luckily near the window. It's been a long time since I rode on a plane and luckily we were booked in business class. Madam Lilia was drinking champagne. While I quietly stared at my phone seeing that my wallpaper was us together. I decided to just let it on for now. I don't want it to change 

I'm leaving for real. I can't help but feel tear unknowingly fall down my cheeks 

"Don't cry girl" She spoke coldly

"I'm sorry" wiping my tears feeling my heart shatter

"Use that as you dedication to win" Madam Lilia

She was right I need to be strong
