It was past midnight when the Goenkas reached the Goenka villa. Everyone was already very tired and immediately went to their rooms to sleep. Akshara, on the other hand, was over the moon. It was her first public appearance to showcase her talent, and not only did she participated but she also won with a huge margin. Sleep was nowhere near her as she sat on the bed, reminiscing all the moments of the night while smiling to herself.
"Akshu, stop smiling like an idiot and sleep. Aren't you tired?" A sleepy Aarohi asked while rubbing her eyes as she yawned.
"Aaru!!! I'm so happy!! I can't even sleep in excitement!! Everything seems so perfect right now, just...." she stopped and looked down as the smile vanished from her face.
"Akshu, what happened?" Aarohi sat up and held her sister's chin, making her look up.
"I really wish mumma papa was here. I miss them." Her voice cracked as tears made their way on her cheeks. Aarohi tightly engulfed Akshara in a hug and consoled her.
"Akshu, they both are looking over at us, and trust me, they are extremely proud. No one can love us like they did, but... don't forget you have a family that loves you a lot and will be with you forever." Aarohi pressed a slight kiss on her sister's head before they both smiled, breaking off the hug.
"Also, why didn't you make Neil meet our family?" Akshara asked as she picked up her mobile from the side table to check any missing notifications.
"I thought it wasn't a good time. An official meeting would be more appropriate." Aarohi replied, and Akshara nodded as they both laid down to get some sleep.
Akshara was about to set her mobile phone on the side table again when she heard her phone chimed. She opened her phone to see a notification under the name 'Dr. Hitler'. A slight chuckle escaped her mouth as she mentally slap herself for still having Abhimanyu saved under this name.
Dr. Hitler: One of the best nights of my life. You were truly magical. Congratulations once again, Akshu. This calls for a party, by the way ;)♡
"Did he just attach a heart emoji? Don't overthink it, Akshu. Maybe he does this with everyone." Akshara said to herself before she replied with a thank you.
She went to the setting of the call log and decided to change the name from 'Dr. Hitler' to 'Abhi'. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu smiled when he received her text as he knew she would be up due to all the excitement. He, too, went to the call logs and changed her name from 'Akshara' to 'Akshu♡'.
"What are you doing to me?" He let out a sigh before closing his eyes to get some sleep.

It was a bright, cheerful morning. Akshara was still not over last night as she decided to dress up nicely this morning when she received a call from Shefali. A small smile appeared on her lips, seeing Shefali's name flash on her screen.
"Hi, Shefali! I thought you had forgotten about me." Akshara complained and could hear Shefali laugh on the other side of the phone.
"Sorry, Akshara. I've been really busy with my job, plus Shivu keeps my hands full." Shefali explained.
"How's shivu?? I miss him so much!!" Akshara asked.
"Shivu misses his best friend too, so why don't you come and meet him today? Have breakfast with us?" Shefali offered, and Akshara thought for a minute before agreeing to it.
"Great! I'll ask Chachi to make your favourite kachoris. She'll be really happy to see you." Shefali said excitedly.
"A simple breakfast would be enough. Don't bother her, please." Akshara couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love.
"Akshu!! No one can ever get bothered by you. Now get off the phone and get ready." Shefali told her.
"You've started calling me Akshu, too?" Akshara got surprised at Shefali calling her by her pet name.
"Actually, Abhimanyu says Akshu all the time in the house, so I got habitual of it. Anyways, I gotta go bye and see you soon." A deep red shade spread across Akshara's cheeks after hearing shefali's statement as her stomach churned up.
"You're crazy, Akshu." She slapped herself on the forehead before deciding to shrug off this feeling and went to get ready for leaving.

"Beta, why didn't you visit us after that day? Did you not like us?" Manjiri complained as she made Akshara sit on the dining table as the servants set the table.
"No, aunty, it's not like that. Actually, I had my quizzes and was just so focused on the music competition....
"Oh yes, the music competition. Abhi showed me the video of you singing. I loved it!" Manjiri praised Akshara, and she smiled at her before thanking her.
"It was the first time I saw Abhimanyu so happy after getting defeated." Shefali chucked as she gave Shivu to Akshara.
"Bhabhi, why are you...." Abhimnayu stopped in between when he saw Akshara sitting at the dining table. A small smile crept on his face as he waved at her, and she waved back.
"You didn't tell me you were coming?" Abhimanyu asked her. Before she could reply, shefali did.
"Why should she tell you? This is not your college. I invited her." Shefali spoke, and Akshara chuckled at her comment.
"Wow, bhabhi! How easily you get on her side whenever she's here." Abhimanyu whined as he sat on the dining table beside Akshara while Shefali shook her head at her brother in law's obvious obsession with Akshara.
"Stop both of you. Akshara, here, eat some freshly made kachoris. Don't hesitate. Consider this your home too." Manjiri served Akshara, and she looked at her with moist eyes, getting overwhelmed by the motherly love.
"These are really yum, aunty. Thank...." she choked and started coughing. Abhimanyu immediately grew worried and made her drink water while continuously rubbing her back.
"Are you okay?" He asked her as she got stable and stopped coughing. Akshara nodded in response while still trying to catch her breath.
"Why are you like this? Can't you take care of yourself? Eat slowly now. We have a lot of time." Abhimanyu scolded her, and everyone, including Akshara, got shocked by his behaviour while Manjiri smiled at his son's care for Akshara.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to..." He immediately apologized upon realizing as Akshara shook her head, signalling him that's 'its okay'.
"Abhi, are you free today? Actually I wanna take you some place." Akshara asked as everyone was now almost done with their breakfast.
"Yeah, I'm free. I'll just go and check on taayi Ji, then we can go." Abhimanyu said with a smile and left the place.
