The truth, though painful to admit, was that you had loved him.
Deeply and sincerely, you had poured your trust into his hands, believing that he would cherish it.
Yet, his departure shattered your illusions, so cold.
So cold, so sudden.
So sudden you hadn't even realized it at first, when he started dissociating from you.
It meant so much to you, but did it hold any significance to him?
All those women. He thought he was smart.
But the truth was, you had loved him.
YOU HAD LOVED HIM.
He hadn't.
You trusted him.
Surely a man "like him", would not leave after so much?
So much.....?
IT all meant so much to you.
But did he care?
If he did, why did he leave you so ungraciously?
There was proper closure, no reasons, no explanations provided.
Not even an absurd excuse.
And guess what?
You realized it days after he had actually left you.
You, you who thought him to be your future, but he who thought you to be a cheap toy his dad had got him from some damn sale for his birthday.
