The Promise: Part 3

"I don't know...I haven't been myself lately Mon..."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I am losing it...last time he came by, to visit me and all I could do was yell at him and accuse him of meeting other girls, whilst I knew he was busy filming and shooting his new Film.."
"Non...don't be too hard on yourself...Honestly speaking, he can't really blame you for feeling that way...I mean he did have an affair with that Kao-", Nanon held up a hand, shutting his eyes breathily, "Could you...not...please.."
"I am sorry...I forgot that you hate it when I mention her name..."
"I would just rather not talk about that incident altogether, thank you very much..", Chimon looked at him amused, grabbing some of the Chips, which were standing on the small table right in front of them. Nanon smashed his hands in his face, rubbing and clapping his cheeks, "I am just so scared of losing him...I can't lose him Mon..I have never felt this way about any other person before..", Chimon looked at him in shock, putting one hand on his chest, mimicking a sad and outraged face, "Wooow Non...that hurt...so you mean to tell me that you love me less?", Nanon rolled his eyes at him.
"Not funny...", Chimon chuckled and continued eating, "I really really love him...and I don't think I would survive him leaving me.."
"Sooo, lets say, you find out that he is cheating on you.."
"stop..."
"No, no hold on....I mean hypothetically...what if h-"
"STOP! JUST STOP - OK?"
"Okay, alright...Chill out Non...I was just..", Chimon couldn't finish his sentence, when Nanon crashed into his seat, silently crying. He shook his head, narrowing his eyes to look at his feet.
"I can't deal with a topic like that...I can't even deal with , thinking about the possibility of him being happy with someone other than me...I just can't", Nanon buried his face behind his hands, crying more audibly now. Chimon felt bad. He knew about his feelings for Ohm, but he didn't know that they had grown so much to the point, where Nanon lost his mind, even speaking of the possibility of Ohm going away or being happy with someone other than him. Chimon then understood, what Ohm really meant to Nanon. He would have endured and accepted anything, as long as Ohm promised to be with him. There really was a difference between people loving each other and soulmates adoring each other. Chimon threw the half-bitten Chip away, moving closer to Nanon, now crouching in front of him.
"Non...I am sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just messing with you like always...you know me, I just can't shut up...I am and always will be..."
"an insensitive prick?", Nanon finished for him, wiping some of his tears away. Chimon raised his eyebrows.
"I was going to say..."on -called -for " but I guess insensitive prick hits it well...", both chuckled and hugged each other.
"You know...Ohm loves you too right?", Chimon broke the hug, looking Nanon right into his blubbery eyes.
"More than I think even humanly possible. He adores you Non...I have never seen a person, who could deal with all your moods at the same time.." Nanon gave him a death glare, "...and still love you for those messed up mood swings of yours...that's what I call true love... No, but jokes aside...Ohm would NEVER leave you. NEVER, unless he gets kidnapped or he dies, but I honestly don't think he can be killed that easily...I think that some people tried and they failed miserably...", Nanon raised an eyebrow at him.
"Who would want to kill Ohm?"
"Well..I mean Love for example. She hated him for a long time and I think she still does. She just tolerates him for your sake..."
"What? Why would you think that?"
"She may or may not have mentioned it to me...a few times...??", Nanon rolled his eyes, but chuckled, giving Chimon a light shoulder bump.
"I forgive you...do you think I should call him and ask him to come over tonight??"
"I thought he was going to surprise you tomorrow...?"
"Yeah...he did mention something like that...But wait a minute...I didn't tell you about it?? So how come you know?", Chimon was about to open his mouth and reply when both of them heard a loud Door- bang. Then another one, shortly after another one.
"What the fuck?", Nanon got up, answering the door. Chimon followed closely behind him.
"Perth?", Perth was standing in the doorway, panting, and sweating from visibly running fast.
"What's wrong? Is everything ok? Sorry... Come in..", Nanon invited the unexpected Visitor in and offered him a glass of water. Perth laid of his jacket and bag, giving Nanon an intensive stare, indicating to want to speak with him in private.
"Its okay Perth, you know Chimon. He is my best friend and he practically knows everything about me...you can say whatever you want to say to me, openly."
"Are you sure?", Perth gave Nanon another warning look.
"Yes..I am...what is it?", Perth took a deep breath and looked at Nanon sad and disappointed.
"You remember the "task" you gave me 4 weeks ago?...I am afraid your fears have come true.
I think Ohm is seeing someone else...and I think...I think he is cheating on you...", Chimon now alternately looked at both Nanon and Perth shocked, letting his hand full of Chips fall to the ground. Perth narrowed his head, unable to look Nanon in the eye and Nanon....Nanon just stood there, with a pale face, wide eyes and no reaction.....
