I very much enjoyed writing it and I hope you all liked Yara. She's definitely one of my favorite OCs. I know this ending is likely rushed, but for personal reasons I really needed to finish this story today and move on.
This was my last of several Klaus Mikaelson fics (you can tell who my favorite character is!). It was wonderful to see your feedback throughout not only this fic, but others I have done. He is complex and I have really loved creating each OC I paired with him and hearing back from you all after each chapter. Yara has a special place in my heart, sharing traits from my previous Klaus OCs like Beatrix, Esmeray, Maddy, and Ibeth.
I'm glad to have been able to give this story a happy ending, though I admit there wasn't a set plan in place when I started; it could have gone in any direction! It's one of the reasons I had to finish it soon, because I was tempted to have Klaus die to save Marcel or Hope and have Yara live without him in the end.
