Back in the Cottage, only the three of them were currently present. The Farmer had left with the herd and would come back in a few hours when the sun would start to set. It allowed them perfect privacy since they were literally in the middle of nowhere.

The Porlock had stayed outside, not truly liking houses and not trusting Dumbledore either. This allowed Mo to return to Amina, although, by the way, it was gripping her curls, it was clear that she was still jealous of the attention she gave to the other creature.

Dumbledore sat on the couch, his coat and hat resting by his side; along with his gloves. He had kept a tab on Newt and his latest companion, learning about their adventures in more ways than one. He was glad to finally meet her from close, although the same could not be said about her.

Something was telling him that she would make a good Gryffindor if not Slytherin; if she had attended Hogwarts along with Newt. Of course, it was too late for that now; but that did not mean that he could not get to know her a little more. Especially, with what he had in the plan stored for both of them.

Newt had gotten out the kettle and three teapots, using his wand to levitate and prepare them; before letting the kettle hanging over the raging fire. He then sat on a chair, diagonally from his former teacher while he fidgeted faintly with his fingers.

Amina remained standing and when the water was ready, she merely used her magic without the need of a wand to control the kettle and allow it to pour the boiling water into the cups; before passing them to each one of them.

She could feel Dumbledore's eyes on her form while she worked but she tried her best to ignore it, wandless magic for her often requiring quite the concentration not to let her guard down.

"So, you have your tea. What is it that you wanted to see us?" Amina asked, sitting on a chair close to Newt, her hands holding the cup.

Albus took a sip from his tea, enjoying the flavour before he looked at the two of them. "An old friend of mine informed me of an illegally imprisoned Thunderbird in Egypt"

Amina almost dropped her teacup, blue-green eyes wide as she looked at the older wizard. "Thunderbird? Are you serious?" she asked, not able to hide her shock but also excitement.

Thunderbirds were perhaps her favourite mythical creature, the one she often read about as a kid. She always dreamt of meeting one, sometimes her imagination going as wild as to ride one as it summoned wild storms with its magic.

Even her wand had a Thunderbird Tail Feather as a core, although that came purely coincidental. In her mind, however, she did not think it was as random as others might believe.

"I am, which is why I came to find the two of you" Albus explained, making the two friends exchange a look.

"If this is true...then...we need to help that poor creature," Newt said, clearly thinking the same thing as his companion. However, then another thing popped into his mind. "Amina...Egypt...is close to..."

"Israel" she continued for him, her eyes falling on the tea that she had not touched yet. Going to Egypt, had the risk of someone from her country spotting her. It was unclear if after all those years, her parents would still look for her but she and Newt had made sure to take all the necessary precautions when they travelled close by. "It's close...but we cannot let that poor animal alone. We have to go" she said, that familiar determination visible in her eyes.

Newt always admired how determined she could be when it came to magical creatures, always going the extra mile; not caring much about the dangers or risks. From the day they raced against time to place that dragon egg on the nest to all their adventures over almost 6 years...
