A few days have passed since Y/n and Yuno scoured the library for anything that would help either of them find out where they came from. The only thing they found was that Y/n's pendant had a swan on the back, and they originate in the Spade Kingdom

Anyway, enough of that
Today is the Distinguished Service Ceremony. A day where magic knights who earned enough stars, get promoted in the ranks
Y/n hasn't been keeping track of how many stars she's earned but she is sure it isn't enough to get her promoted in rank
"Lady Y/n! Hurry up! You have to go meet your father!" Marx's voice exclaimed through the closed door
Currently, Y/n was getting ready for the ceremony. "Yeah yeah! Hold on mushroom head!"
"How many time have I told you not to call me that!"
"And how many times have I told you that I don't care!"
"That Yami is a bad influence on you," Marx muttered
"I would have to disagree with you Marx," Y/n smiled. "I think he is a great influence."
"No he is not Lady Y/n!" Marx yelled
"Y/n are you almost ready?" another, much calmer voice, came from the other side of the door
"Almost father," Y/n called back
Y/n got dressed in her usual attire before stepping out of her room to a annoyed Marx and a overly happy Julius
Y/n gave her father a hug before turning to Marx. "You're gonna get wrinkles if you keep that face."
"Now now Y/n that's not nice," Julius said. "Even though it is true."
"You two may not be related, but you are very alike. "Marx groaned as he pushed Y/n and Julius to the room where they will be meeting some people. "Now let's go! Otherwise we will be late!"
"Oh calm down Marx," Julius laughed. "It's fine."
"No it is not fine Wizard King! You need to be more responsible about these things!" Marx exclaimed
Julius leaned in and whispered in Y/n's ear. "Marx is a bit of a goody-two-shoes isn't he?"
"That's what I've been saying!" Y/n whispered back
