"Did you check the online orders yesterday?" Kat asked as we packed up the last of Jimin's boxes and set them in our "to be shipped" corner in the backroom.

"Shit. I totally forgot. We were shopping for furniture yesterday and it slipped my mind."

"Furniture? What did the eight of you buy a house or something?"

"No. They converted one of their home offices into a workshop for me."

Kat gave me a smug grin. A workshop that has had everything except work being done in it lately, I thought, remembering last night. What happened with Jungkook, my past lovers would have never done. To be fair, I wasn't expecting that from him either, but I loved it. Giving into to him like that was new and exciting.

"Wow. Look at you all. Getting so serious."

I shook my head as I double checked the number of boxes. Her loud gasp right next to me made me jump, my head whipping around to see her with wide eyes and an excited expression.

"What if we got married together! That would be so cute!"

"Uh, how about no."

I turned back to the boxes. Checking off that they were all there and ready to go. Finished with that, I resolved I really did need to check the online orders and headed to the front for my laptop.

"Why not? You don't want to get married with me?" she pouted as if she were offended.

"Well, first of all, getting married together sounds like a recipe for disaster in the first place. I'm not even sure that would work. Secondly, the boys and I are a long way from marriage. We haven't known each other long enough to even have that conversation. Plus, I'm busy here and they have their own stuff going on. It's not on the table."

My attention was focused on the laptop in front of me. We had a good chunk of online orders for the week. It's a good thing we finished Jimin's stuff this morning because we'll be busy for the rest of the week.

"It's not on the table period, or it's not on the table right now?" She asked, looking at me closely.

I sighed, finally turning to her. It was one of those rare moments where she looked at me with worry. I like to think I held myself together pretty well for Kat, but in those instances where I can't, she's always been there to pick up the pieces.

"You know how I feel about marriage."

"I know, but Y/N, you're not your parents. These men aren't someone your dad tried setting you up with."

"I'm aware."

"So, if it's something they want, shouldn't you at least consider it?" she pressed.

"I'll cross that bridge if we come to it." I turned back to the computer hoping to end the conversation.

Thankfully, she took the hint albeit a little reluctantly.
