love has its ways, whether it chooses to embrace or make us face our biggest fear.
know that we are friends through the fire and the tears.
when we've got nowhere to hide because there's no mercy in this life, even when the flames came to take you away.
I was there, when the end seemed so close we could feel its breath on our shoulders weighing us down like great big boulders, I am always near. I will let you drown me in your tears, I will always be here.
even if you feel you can't exist, I will be in the mist, ready to help you with all my might, even if I'm not in sight, I will always be here, help you face your fear.
if death knocks on your door, because you are broken, forlorn, I will help you spread your wings and soar, like any true friend would. I will always be near, here for you always.
