When the darkness fulfils our greatest desires, when the darkness clouds everything we know and love, when our entire beings are shrouded in the dark, only shadows are around. when we have our good and bad times, and our breakdowns, when we are bursting with confidence and life, when darkness gives us something to do, something keep us occupied. That is our devil being released, the lion shaking its chains to the earth, their rusty rattle and its roar, when the lion is the darkness, coming closer, closer still, when the darkness is there, when all we can see is the unlit pitch black of sadness.
I will be your light to guide you, be your shining star. And in our wake, we will create a confidence for those near and far. When the darkness fulfils our greatest desires, I will be your sunshine through the rain, through al these things, through all the pain, even when you are trapped in insanity, I hope you will have that moment of clarity and move on, come and let me hold you. I hope you will allow that. My one and only star, my angel from heavens above, when all things turn catastrophic, our light is our love.
