Penny steps on the scale as part of her daily routine now that she is pregnant
Penny: *gasps* I'm so FAT!!
*in tears* Leonard, look at me I am SO fat!!!!
Leonard: No Penny you are NOT fat
Penny: Yes I am and I will NEVER be able to fit into my old clothes again
Leonard: Wanna see a shrink?
Penny: Why would I Leonard? What do shrinks know about pregnancy I bet half of them are 50 year old men that have never even HAD a pregnant wife
Leonard: *hugs her* I will love you no matter your the size of your clothes
Penny: I don't even want that baby much, not after all my mom's lectures about virginity since she had me in high school
She wasn't happy to have me and she was almost going to have an abortion, that was until my dad convinced her otherwise. No wonder I had to sneak behind her back
Leonard: ohh I see, wanna get busy?
Penny: Figures I couldn't get any more pregnant?
After Penny drifted off to sleep that afternoon:
Leonard thought: What can I do for her?
I know!
I will ask Amy and Bernadette?
On the phone with Amy and Bernadette:
Leonard: Guys I need your advice about Penny, now she is pregnant she weighs herself everyday and complains about being fat. I told her to talk to someone but she put down my idea. She even signed up on 10 different weight loss programs.
Bernadette: I had a friend called Marrissa that was like her, now how did Marissa solve the issue??
Amy: It's normal that people don't want to see a therapist
She needs to feel worthy especially of you of Leonard
Leonard: okay
Bernadette: You could plan a vacation get-away to distract her, she loves to travel you know
Leonard: That sounds nice!
The next morning:
Leonard: Hey Penny, do you want to go to Bali?
Penny: OOH Bali I have wanted to go to Bali for some time
I love you Leonard
Leonard: * hugs her*
A month later:
*Penny wearing a tank top*
Leonard: Good morning, Penny!
Penny: Good morning Leonard:)
Penny: Why are you so surprised Leonard?
Leonard: Ohh it's just that I haven't seen you in a tank top in years
Penny: Yeahh, I thought I get back to who I was several years ago. The trip to Bali made me realize what it was like to feel carefree again, thanks again Leonard
Leonard: Your most welcome Penny. I really enjoyed our trip to Bali, it was relaxing!
