"Getting used to this"

Kara and Oliver were now married, and Kara was living with Oliver on his earth. Yeah she did show up on her earth, whenever she was needed, with serious matters Meanwhile, Alex, Jo'nn and others handled the things.

Oliver on the other side, after 4 years of being the Green Arrow, had finally decided to put the hood on the hold and similarly like Kara, only put it on in the times of crisis. He being married to Kara, someone he loves dearly, was now focusing on a normal life, by putting back all the trauma he faced. Kara's presence, her love and understanding for him, helping him a lot with his PTSD from the Island. He was now running for the mayor and mostly had to run for meetings at the city hall, and Thea his half sister always accompanied him. Felicity and John along with a few new recruits of crime fighting were now handling the vigilante job.

One fine evening...

Kara was in the kitchen, just made some hot chocolate for herself and was waiting for the time to pass quickly, so that Oliver could be home and they could spend time together, when Oliver walked in and added,

"Hey Kara..."

That made Kara startled a little, and turning to him, she replied,

"Hey... You are really early. Did everything go well with the council meeting?!" She was curious

"Yes. And yes. I just didn't feel it right to leave me beautiful attractive wife all alone at home for a long time..." he paused  for a second and further continued, "...To be honest, now that we are married, and being like this, I'm kind of getting used to you by my side all the time..." he didn't wanted to sound clingy but he didn't wanted to hide his feelings from her either, not when they are married and Kara could read his face like a book

Kara smiled feeling a little shy, and replied, "well, I might have to warn you, not to make me a habit of you showing up early, coz I might get used to it..."

And looking down at her in a look full of hope and honesty, he replied, "Now that I have decided to put the Green Arrow business on a hold for a while, unless it's urgent and serious; I actually, won't mind you getting used to this... to us, having some good time together... watching movies, curled up on the couch... or just us...making love..."

"well... in that case... I don't mind either" she smiled and getting off the chair, she walked to him and put her arms around his neck, and looking down at her he replied,
"be warned, I'm really sweaty, dirty...and stinky... And probably could use some shower"

"you know right, that I find you more attractive, when you are sweaty...and dirty..." she pouted feeling intimated towards him. of course, she loved him when he was working out, and sweaty, and on the plus side, he had a very attractive body and it was her weakness; same way how she was his weakness, especially when she was so sweet, innocent and adorable at the same time;
"...but I won't mind accompanying you in the shower and helping you to take off that...sweat, and dirt, with a nice warm shower..."

"On normal occasions, I would have said that I'm a grown up man and can clean myself; but my showers get better when you are accompanying me in there" he replied romantically, loving how romantic his Kara, his wife sounded at that moment.

"is that so? alright than..." She added playfully, "...than let's go there, coz i cant wait another second to see you shirtless again," and leaning closer, he held her into a soft kiss, which she loved and replied equally to; before he grabbed her, with her legs wrapped around his waist, and headed to the shower.
