Over the remainder of the weekend Steve thought long and hard about how he could get a chance to hangout with Eddie, over thinking ever possible thing he thought of on how to charm him.

In his head, he had to have a plan, and went even as far as going to his work on his day off to look at Eddies movie purchase history so he knew what kind of movies he liked.

Was he over doing this? Probably. But did he care? Not one bit.

He wanted to pull out ever last card he had left in the pretty much empty bin of date ideas, to maybe get a chance with Eddie, he hoped and prayed that things would work because the weight of rejection weighted on Steve's heart and mind like an anvil, hanging on by a thread, wanting to crash down and crush him.

He had it all planned out, down to every single word he would say to Eddie, the invitation to hangout was there, ready and waiting in Steve's mind, all he needed to do now was get the opportunity to present it to him.

He woke up early Monday morning, getting himself ready as best as he could, overly doing his hair and planned out the perfect outfit.

Steve was pulling all the stops for this, wanting it to be fucking perfect.

When it came time to go pick up Robin, his heart hammered in his chest because he was so nervous.

The drive to her house felt like it would never end and when he finally pulled into her driveway, she was already waiting outside, racing to the car in a hurry and when she got in, she gave him an odd look.

"Steve what the hell are you wearing?" She asks him and he looks down at himself.

He had thrown on a black shirt and an old leather jacket from his dads closet and a pair of ripped black jeans he may or may not have went to buy at Star Court yesterday.

"Too much?" He asks her, instantly regretting his outfit choice and she gives him an off putting look, and the feelings inside Steve only worsen. He already felt on edge about his formulated plan inside his head, so when his best friend started to openly judge him for going way to far over the top, he felt immense regret form in the pit of his stomach.

"Little too late to go back now." She tells him and he frowns deeply, trying hard to ignore her words as he started to drive towards the school.

He stays quiet, rehearsing to himself what he was going to say to Eddie, and by the time he had went over it three times inside his head, they were pulling into the parking lot.

He takes a deep breath, before looking around the parking lot for Eddies white van and when he spots it, his heart leaps in his chest.

"Good luck." Robin says to him, a little more helpful than when she had gotten into the car and Steve nods at her in thanks before he gets out of the car and closes his door, inhaling sharply before turning around and with every single ounce of courage he had left in himself, makes his way over to Eddie, who's leaning against his van, eyeing Steve with a look Steve can't place no matter how much his brain overanalyzes the look.

When he gets a few paces from Eddie, Steve looks him over fully, he was wearing black ripped jeans, and a long sleeved Metalica shirt with black boots.

Steve blatantly checks him out, feeling bolder than ever as his eyes finally meet Eddie's who's eyeing him with the same intense look that Steve is giving him.

"Hey Eddie." Steve greets, the confidence inside himself growing as he doesn't seem to notice any displeasure in Eddies eyes as he evaluates him.

"What's up?" Eddie asks him before he points at Steve. "That's something new for you." He says, motioning to his outfit and Steve nods.
