"BLUEY!"

...

"BLUEY!"

...

"BLUEY CHRISTINE HEELER!"

"I'm coming, Bingo!" Bluey yelled back, stroking Polly Puppy on the head. She pleased the stuffed animal on the floor with the rest of the toys. "Now, students, I have a bit of business to get to. I'll be back in a second."

"What is it, Bingo?" Bluey called out while going down the stairs. "Bingo?"

Bluey peered outside her window and noticed her younger sister freaking out in the backyard.

"Bingo!" The older Heeler rushed outside. "Bingo! What's going on?"

"Look at the fishpond!" Bingo pointed. "The water- it's gone!"

Bluey gasped. "No!"

"Yes!" Bingo knelt down and peered inside. "Somebody's stolen it! All of it! This is a pickle!"

"Not just any pickle." Bluey crossed her arms determined. "This is a mystery! And I'm going to solve it!"

"Thank you all for gathering here today." Bluey stood in front of three of her friends: Snickers, Judo, and Rusty. Bingo was standing next to her, imitating her sister's determined look.  "We have a mystery to solve. Bingo?" She turned to her sister. "Do you mind sharing details?"

"Of course," Bingo brushed her fur off and pointed to the fishpond. "That's my mum's fishpond. When I came outside to play in it, the water was gone" She paused dramatically. "-and so were the fish."

The other children gasped. "No!" Snickers moaned. "Not the fish!"

"Yes." Bluey shook her head sadly. "A tragedy it is. But that's why I got you all here-" She pointed to the group of detectives in front of her. "Together, we can solve this mystery once and for all. Any questions?"

Rusty raised his hand. "Umm... you said your mum was making cookies for us?"

"Oh, yes, the cookies!" Judo clapped her paws together happily.

"Cookies! Cookies!" Snickers cheered.

Bluey sighed. "Fine. We'll get cookies first, but then we need to solve the mystery."

"Hooray!" The kids all ran inside, eager for dessert. But Bingo stayed outside with her sister. "Bluey?" The Red Heeler asked. "Can you really solve this mystery?"

"Of course." Bluey put her hands on her hips. "A good detective is always right; I'm sure I can find out what happened to the fish."

---

"A good detective always looks for clues." Bluey moved her magnifying glass around the backyard. "If we pay very close attention, then maybe we'll find some!"

The kids looked around the backyard, but nothing seemed to stand out. Rusty looked at Bluey, who seemed to be getting a bit frusterated. "Bluey, how about we look at the front instead of here?" He asked. "There are no clues here."

"Why would we need to do that?" Bluey scowled. "The pond is in the back, not the front."

"Hey!" Snickers pointed to the big oak tree in the yard. "I see a hat!"
