INTRO:

Mum! Dad! Bingo! Bluey!

EXT. CHLOE'S HOUSE- ENTRANCE

Bluey stood sheepishly at the front of Chloe's door, holding the broken rubber duck in her paws.

It was all a tragic accident. Chloe had loaned the ducky to Bluey, who gave it to Bingo, who made the wise decision to give it to Socks as a toy to play with. There was a reason Bluey hid all her toys when her cousins came over.

The now-shredded ducky had lost its squeak. The daintily painted yellow coating had been scratched, revealing its white undercoat. Its eyes had been peeled off as well.

Bluey was ashamed.

But Chloe, in her innocent nature, was unfazed when she opened the door to notice Bluey's somber face. "Hi, Bluey!" She chirped out, grinning widely. "Do you have my ducky to give back?"

Bluey had been preparing for this moment for the past few days, but it didn't make it feel ever so less daunting.

"Hi, Chloe." She mumbled under her breath, her ears drooping. Slowly, she lifted up the broken, shredded ducky and closed her eyes, not wanting to see the look of horror on Chloe's face. "This is your ducky, I think."

"How did it go?" Bingo had just come back from an impromptu bike session with the irls' dad. The first thing she noticed when she returned was Bluey plopped on the couch, tail up and face down.

Bluey muffled something.

"Wha?" Bingo took off her helmet and pulled at her sister's tail. "What did you say?"

"Yow!" Bluey shot up like a lightning bolt, rubbing her now-sore back end. "Bingo, I told you to stop doing that!"

"Sorry." Bingo grinned sheepishly.

Bluey just scowled back.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise!" Bingo bolted into the kitchen and returned with a pack of frozen edamame beans. She handed them over to her sister. "Here- put it on your bum! It will help!"

Bluey fiddled with the bag for a while, not listening to her sister. "Chloe doesn't like me anymore, Bingo. She was so angry about the ducky."

"Why?" Bingo chugged from a water bottle, regaining her hydration. "It was just a ducky."

"But it was her SPECIAL ducky!" Bluey threw her arms in the air. "Her nana gave it to her when she was a baby, and now it's ruined. Because of me."

"Well, actually, it's more because of Socks."

Bluey shot her sister a look. Bingo got the message and immediately ran upstairs.

Bluey watched her younger sister leave and immediately flopped on the couch again. But not long after, she heard a voice calling out to her:

"Bluey! Where are you- we need to have a chat!"

"Mum?" Bluey's eyes widened in disbelief. There was no way Chloe's parents told her mum about the situation. Surely, she wasn't that upset. She couldn't have.

Or could she?

Bluey's suspicions were confirmed as she noticed Chilli sitting on her bed, waiting for her. Her face resembled a mixture of disappointment and a gentle peace.
