* POV Alora

Two days before

The moon had started to make it descend into the earth leaving a turquoise glow in the sky waiting for the sun to rise. I turned to look at Ominis. He had fallen asleep on my shoulder, wearing himself out as he had held onto me tightly through the night. I listened to his breath come in and out slowly occasionally squeezing me. I guess making sure he was still secure even in his sleep.

In the distance you started to see the horizon of the ocean. We were coming up on Feldcroft when we started to see some small shops and cottage houses in the distance.

I grabbed Ominis knee and shook it "Ominis wake up, we are almost there."

He stirred in his sleep, slowly opening his eyes peaking over my shoulder.

I looked down and saw a cave area where there were rocks boarding up an entrance. It was the catacombs entrance where Sebastian had killed his uncle. My breath hitched looking down at it as High Wing circled the area. I closed my eyes taking deep breaths, memories flooding my mind.

"She cannot be healed Sebastian! You must stop!"

"I won't let her suffer! Avada Kedavra!"

"You've made your choice."

"Oh Anne, what have you done."

I shivered remembering the sound of his uncle's body hitting the ground after he died. The look on Anne's face realizing what her brother had done. I remember just standing there and watching the scene play out.

Ominis grabbed my arm and squeezed it gently, pulling me out of my daze of memories. I turned to look at him over my shoulder, he smiled at me sweetly. I took one last look at the entrance before leaning to push High Wing in the direction of the Sallow's home.

Their home hadn't changed much from the last time I saw it last year. Everything was still intact included with the spell dummies that sat outside laying on the ground. High Wing chirped and made her way down descending to the ground. I held onto her neck firmly trying to keep my balance while Ominis grabbed onto my back holding onto my stomach.

High Wing extended her legs to the ground, when we hit the ground, it caused us to slightly tip forward. She galloped around the back end of the house before coming to a complete stop.

I patted her neck with my hands before slipping off and grabbing Ominis hand so he could dismount the same.

"Well, that wasn't so bad" I said smiling at him.

"Oh sure, dying on multiple occasions by falling to my death sounds lovely" he joked.

I rolled my eyes at him before turning back to High Wing rubbing her beak with my hand.

"Don't you listen to him girl, you did wonderful" I said. She pushed her head down further into my hand, enjoying the attention before turning around and galloping off into the distance.

The sun had just started to rise, light breaking through the cliffside near the home.

"Come on Alora, she knows we were going to be arriving this morning" Ominis said.

He motioned for me to walk ahead of him bringing me to the front of the Sallow home.

"Wait Ominis" I said stopped in my tracks ".... what if.. what if she doesn't want to talk to me?"

He stopped to look at me, grabbing my shoulders piercing me with his white orbs. "I'm usually not one to say relax, but you need to relax Alora. She wouldn't have invited us into her home if she wasn't interested in talking to you."
