Chapter 3

The video starts showing Daya setting up the camera. "Alright so it's been one week since we landed back on Earth it's been five years and one week since the war on pandora." Daya goes out of frame and comes back with the little girl in her arms showing her to the camera.

"Say Hello Catleya come on baby wave to the camera." Daya tried to encourage the girl to speak but was got a shy wave making the girl wiggles out of her arms. Watching the little girl crawl on the blankets on the floor playing with a necklace around her neck.

Lelia pauses the video zoning into the necklace as she thought it looked familiar. It was the necklace their grandmother gave to Daya when she young. Smiling at the memories of their grandmother.

Replaying the video while listening out for Cyrus and Catleya laughter. "Well Lelia uh surprise." Daya tried to joke but her smile didn't reaching to her full face turning her attention to the little girl who was trying to sleep. Lelia watched how Daya looked at the girl with so much love she never seen from her before.

Daya covers the girl turning back looking exhausted as she stares at the camera. " Lelia I'm hoping you're watching this video and didn't overreact." Daya smirks at the camera knowing how her sister got. "I am sorry for doing this but this is the only way I knew I could keep Catleya safe."

She begin to explain how Parker Selfridge who was head of the RDA approached her with the new program. A breeding program, RDA wanted to see how human's body would grow and react to being born and raised on Pandora.

She continues with Parker telling her husband Ace the truth of the program. The RDA wanted to to experiment on children born on pandora hoping to make them like the natives that lived there.

She agreed over the impression that she would be part of the baby life and live on pandora permanently there with it. Daya always wanted a baby immediately jumping to the offer even though Ace didn't like the idea of kids.

Lelia rolls her eyes at the mention of Ace Remembering how he convinced Daya to go with him to Pandora when her and Daya both were gonna leave the military after they found out their grandmother got sick.

Stating how she wasn't allowed to know the father of her baby at the time since Ace wasn't fit to be a candidate. The scientist had told her it didn't matter since it was perfect match for a successful pregnancy which was true she got pregnant the first try.

But the war broke out ending with the humans were being forced to return back to Earth. No one knew Daya was pregnant beside a handful of scientists and Parker, Ace.

Daya wasn't put in cryosleep as the doctors were worried it would affect the pregnancy. She ended up giving birth to a healthy baby girl. Raising the girl on the ship wasn't all bad. She believed they would be taken careful and live a good life on Earth.

But it all changed when she overheard the doctors talking about how they were gonna separate them once they got to Earth. She got close to a Doctor Howe who became her friend and told her who the father was a man named Jake Sully who was avatar driver who caused the war.

Daya and Howe start making a plan to help them escape when they landed. "When we got to earth, They put me and Catleya in a hotel for the night before they could move us." She started crying as she was reconciling the night.

"I'm begging Lelia please take care of her. I know you'll keep her safe. You can give her a better chance in life then I could have." Wiping the tears that ran down her face.

"Lelia she doesn't know that I'm her mother. I want it to stay that way she can't know of me anymore. They can't find her or they'll hurt her." The video ends there when Lelia putting the phone down and hugs herself for feeling overwhelmed.
